I wouldn't even look for who's been playing it. I'd sit down for 5 minutes and once it's apparent nobody is getting change for it I'd have the free £1 credits. If somebody then came up going larey at me I'd just say "do you own it?" "Jog on then theres a good lad"

this is my first post but I think it is wrong to "reserve" a machine anyway. If you have walked away from it you are no longer playing it. It is fine if you have gone to the bar/to get change but not for any other reason.
If you are that desperate to play it have a fag first, wait until you have finished before having another.
Try arguing the toss with any middle aged female in Gala Bingo and see where it gets you.
Those types have specially laminated THIS MACHINE IS RESERVED given to them for long service awards.
