Won £35.00 but machine only paid £19 has it had not enough money to pay

Is this a common problem becuase every time I go into one pub the machines are always seem to be doing this???????

Got mega streak after investing around £10.00 and only paid me £19.00 and said £16 owed

Its the Deal or no deal one the one with the telephone on the board and on the reel spins?

I thought a bandit could not pay out if it did not have enough money in the hopper?

look at it this way, the machine has just been emptied by someone, the next punter comes on and only plays with notes, its still gonna take the notes but pay out IOU's if the amount is more than whats in the hopper until its been refilled!
