    Default Ladbrokes Slot Machines

Does anyone here actually enjoy playing the machines in places like Ladbrokes?

To me, they seem like they are really bad value for money, with minimum bet of £1 and last time I looked, only a measly 70% pay-out (is that still the case?).

The games weren't much better, either, as they only had some very old and tired looking US-style slot games on them. It seems strange, because there are loads of really good games in US casinos with great graphics, sound and bonus games to choose from, but instead they went for slots like 'Jackpot Party' which is a little lame, imo

    Any other views?

    Default There average at best...

I agree mostly with the fact that the slots in bookies seem to be poor compared with those in arcades..although given the random nature of the 500 pot slots this could just be bad timing, but after winning 500 on reel king(on the reels)once last year ive had absolute zilch..never even had 4 or 5 kings on the feature nor had 4 or 5 wells or leprecauns on riches..had win streaks on the version of riches which i thought would be good since it looked similar to the pots or rainbows on arcade version and had amounts from 20 to 50 quid....SHITE!!!!!

At first I thought you meant online!
Ladbrokes is currently my favorite online casino due to their VERY generous slots promos.

Next I thought you were talking about £500 jackpot machines, as they are they only ones I know which have £1 minimums, but if you're saying the payout is only 70% it can't be them either as they are usually 90-92%. So I'm a bit confused over which machines you were talking about...?

I haven't been in a high-street bookies for ages - maybe I should get out more...

    Default slots in bookies

Hi,yeah i was talking about the slots that are in the bookies on the games machines, theres usually roulette, greyhound horses and card games to play aswell as a few slot games-reel king and a slightly different version of rainbow riches, called golden charms...like i say, there apparently random like the arcade 1's and so not really any signs or tactical play on them but they just dont give the big bonus games(4 or 5 symbols)like the arcade 1's,and on golden charms there arent any rainbows in the middle 3 reels for your pot wins, they are win streak symbols which the machine boasts can be up to 5ton if the come in...ive had them quite a few times now and not had more than 40 quid..!!If anyone has had a decent return of slots in bookies id be interested to hear there story...a theory is is that they get played next to nothing compared to the ever popular roulette,so never really have enough put through them to pay out big...

Dont see any difference between these and arcade ones
I have had £500 from a reel king on the 5 reel bonus and £250 from 3 leprechauns on the golden charms. Must admit that win streak thing is cack

As for reel king you can still get the £500 from 3/4 reels opening up on the bonus which i dont think is possible on the arcade versions but i could be wrong
