Hey all,

Completely new at all of this - no nothing about gambling in the slightest except by fluke I managed to get £35 out of one of these machines the other day....I thought the machine must have just been havign a crazy 5 minutes, kept letting me nudge and whistling at me for unlimited nudges.

But then I saw two other machines do that to two seperate people later on in the day and it got me wondering - it SEEMS like a decent machine to play on, but are there any specific tips anyone has for it?

If you know nothing about gambling iwouldnty advise starting then as the state of machines these days are anything to go by you will most likely end up losing money fast.

Yes, the state of the slot machine industry is not good in this country

It's about time UK player started rebelling against the terrible pay-back percentages we are getting.

I go to a casino in the US and I find slots paying over 95%. Then, I come back here and many of the slots are set at 70% payback. Some are even paying only 65%

This means I lose on average 30p in the pound on every spin as opposed to 5p in the US - that's a huge and unacceptable difference

Plus, in the US, I go into a casino and a lovely young thing is paid to keep bringing me free beer.

I love slots, but there is absolutely no fun to be had playing them in the UK, unfortunately.

This is an invalid arguement unfortunately... You are comparing US machines in casino's paying over 95% whilst AWP's here payout an average 70%... How can you compare Casino Machines to Pub Machines?

The reason why this post is invalid, is because if you attend a UK Casino you will know that majority pay average of 94%, so near enough identical!
