Info on Crazy Fruits

Guys, ive just bought a QPS Crazy Fruits machine, the red- faced one. £5 Jp, 10p play.

Can anyone tell me when this version was first released. Is it likely to have had a re-chip? If so how do I tell? Any chance of getting an original chip for it?

I remember this machine well from my early teens, 10 years or so ago, in an arcade near me in the Lake District. It would often streak for 4-6 JP's within several pounds in, and I have always been amazed by it since. As that would be 1997/ 1998 im not sure if it would be this version?

btw, this is the version with £1 win for three cherrys, not 20p as per green faced version if that helps.
