Unusual occurences last night on Cluedo fruit machine and Bullseye on the It Box.
Some guy was playing Cluedo when we arrived at pub, he was casually munting away as far as I could tell but I couldn't see the machine from where we sat. I heard him collect £40 so thought better of my sharkaments. Played Bullseye instead and was offered a 201 board with a 100 bullseye before the first question. Next round Bully's Bonus straight to prize board and even though I wasn't aiming for it somehow it offered the bull for a fiver. Thought about collecting but we were only in the early questions so continued on - next prize dart was a blank and part of me was thinking is this game capable of awarding more than a fiver ? Anyways, next so called 'easy' early question was a 4 parter spoiler date question and alas even with 2 try agains the inevitable happened and we lost the cash.
Now let me say straight away, losing a fiver on Bullseye fooking hurts way more than cocking up a £35 on any fruity. Sure I'd be annoyed if I lost £35 through my own lack of skillz or stupidity but losing a fiver off a quiz machine felt like somebody had hacked my balls off. The next game awarded £4 off the prize board so there was some payback at the end of the day.
Whilst we played the quizzer nobody had played Cluedo - I thought I'd try for a feature on the off chance the other guy had been feeding notes and banking his pennies up. 1st feature is looking promising, up to red hi/lo then it soon appears that it's an IM. Flat £35 though...I wonder whether the other guys winnings were the start of the streak and he bottled it at £35 and collected ? I've never seen these do a staggered streak.
It was still happy enough to give the red bars a tenner later to finally kill it off. Nice for something unusual to happen rather than the normal force/top/reforce/etc.

Well, I can't be sure how he was playing but he didn't look like the GUAC type. I'm guessing he hit the natural IM out the blue, took *something* obvious that was £35 be it red SH, or £35 off the cash stack or even a middle value cash that repeated..who knows. He also immediately changed the coins for notes at the bar which made me think he wasn't a player and obviously didn't try another board.

I take it you are talking about the quizzer now, yeah I've had it take £4 off me before, nothing in this game for 2 in a bed and all that.
I think you are even risking it once you've snagged a prize even aiming for the next red segment either side because it'll do you if it wants by making the dart go in the prize segment you already have so I always aim at least 2 segments away now for the next prize if it's worth going for.
