Why don't photos upload?

I'm trying to upload a profile pic, and have compressed a few different pics and also tried entering website address with no joy...

Any ideas? Am trying to upload jpeg images....

I also had the same problem. I just lowered the the size of the pic and then it was fine. The limit on how big the size of the file is very low.

Its good for saving bandwidth, if thats the case, then use an external image host like imageshack.us and link to the image using the IMG tag...

i've had more avatars than most people and even i cant get it to change now!

invalid url is the usual problem even though i know they work!

its down to the size of the file you are trying to use as ur picture, usally the problem

I changed my picture yesterday. Basically as far as I know, the tool for uploading pictures is fucked. Just use the avatar tool. Make sure the picture is both below 60kb and the dimensions are smaller than 200x200 (ie both dimensions are smaller than 200, not just a combined area of less than 40000)
