Folks,
I've been a member of on on-line casino and games site now for about 18 months. Thought I'd post my findings about on-line percentages compared to slot arcade percentages (70%+ etc.).
You may recall one of my postings from about 6 months ago where I worked out that the site's new Deal or No Deal game version (not an on-line slot) paid out at a percentage of 95.46% (assuming it's entirely fair, which it appears to be).
Found a useful bet history on the site where it said that on one particular slot game I have invested a total of £39,117.90 and got a return of £35,686.75. This sounds like quite a lot until you realise that most of this would be on recycle. Anyway, the percentage works out at 91.2%. There is no skill in the game and I just play it for fun when I get bored on other games. Works out that I have lost about £50 a week over 18 months on that game.
Incidentally, my bet history for the site's DOND game shows a return of 97.7% so obviously i've been 'lucky' on that game, losing at a slightly lower rate than an 'average' punter. Some cheer there then ha ha.
Fortunately my return on two of the site's other games shows a healthy profit and overall my profit from being a member is just over £1,000. 18 months for £1000 profit, hmm, not brilliant.....
On the subject of roulette, can't help but laugh at a system advertised on e-bay which goes something like '99.4% return, guaranteed profit'!!!!

Out of interest, what have you shown your profit on? Poker etc?
jjh, I play a system on roulette, 'force the zero'. My long term statistics on a particular casino site shows that this actually works (needs some nerve though) and I posted a discussion around xmas on this but it disappeared (banned by a moderator, presumably, thinking that I was some sort of scammer, spammer etc.).
Won more than £4k in a couple of weeks when I played this system seriously but it's not for the light hearted. After 8,000 spins my data showed that zero was appearing, on average, every 29 spins. Significant advantage to the punter, if you can afford the occasional heavy loss since you begin losing heavily if zero doesn't spin in by around the 90th spin, and you don't give in to the red rage (must win it back, must win it back.....).
Still play it occasionally, still working on a better system, and my statistics still support it but too busy with work at the moment....d'oh. Also play another numbers game but that's based more on straight probability than any software errors (or operator greed)......
Might post something more on it in future......

I play online slots just about every day, and I can tell you for a fact that most of their payouts are in the region of 94 - 96%.
These figures have been verified by some 'maths heads' on another forum (can be accurately calculated by plotting out the reel-bands of the slots, since they are 100% truly random). And also my own results back this up.
I have 'dabbled' with roulette in the past, and soon discovered it to be a bitch of a game. It really does take you on an emotional roller-coaster of highs and lows - NOTHING gets my blood pumping more!
(Except maybe my misses)
If you really want to take control & win I suggest you try the 'KK slots method';
In many ways it's similar to many roulette schemes in that the longer something does not hit, the more you increase your bets. The difference with slots though is that these bets are not 'all or nothing' because you're still winning something along the way. The net result is you can start much smaller and build up very slowly without risking a fortune, and yet still have a reasonable chance of a good return!
(I've had loads of wins of > $100 from bets of < $1)**
Using casino bonuses & self control are the other things you'll need.
Then you can make profits month after month like wot I does! *
(* Not EVERY month, but 8 out of every 9)
** Hit this beauty last night on the last of 20 free-spins with a 6x multiplier:-

ive tried this "Force the Zero" method and seems to work occasionally. Does anyone know whether it is effective on the new Ladbrokes Machines????
Micky,
You've gotta be careful.....statistically you won't know until after at least 8,000 spins, which will take a mighty long time on any machine and at the end of which you may be seriously at a loss. If you want to try it, find an online site with a 'turbo' option so you don't have to watch the ball bounce round and be prepared to invest a lot of time and money, and keep records.
I recently won over £4,000 on a certain site, which showed the green zero coming in after 29 spins on average, after more than 8,000 spins. You win in the long term but you have to be prepared to put up with some mighty big losses sometimes and then a long, slow haul back to profit. Not for the faint hearted. In fact, I only occasioinally play now because of the potential huge losses if green zero doesn't spin in by about the 85th number, and I'm not even convinced that 8,000 spins was enough for a proper statistical analysis. Maybe my £4,000 profit was simply due to luck.
I wouldn't even bother on a betting shop machine.....
Anybody with further thoughts or information can pm me if they wish.
