from what i can gather, turning down everything offered, makes the machine need to pay a JP to the % close to what its ment to be.
but sometimes easier said than done, but what about on a machine like a joker poker/poker plus or the new find the lady.
seen as each game you can hold every card, making sure you wouldnt get a win any time, surely it would make the % drop right down.
then just play properly, and the machine would have to drop some JP's in to sort its self out?
Forcing only really worked on Barcrests from a few years back.
Forcing, for example, JPMs from the same era would usually end in disaster.
seems to work exceptionally well ona lot of old electocoins such as 8 times cash. If you deliberately waste the extra (9) nudges it would soon offer you the jp, i have found if you deliberately mess this up a few times the machines goes beserk spinning in high wins and repeatedly holding them and offering loads of extra nudges including jp. Can pay upto £120 for £70ish Have been tempted to try it on a magic 10 - just knocking back the wins but not been brave or rich enough !! Has anyone tried this or heard of this as a method ?
Do not try this on a Magic 10 !!!!
"Knowledge is power, but enthusiasm pulls the on-off switch"
do not even play a magic 10!

shame as they were my all time faves.
I don't know, there are a few BFM (Chav It and similar machines) and Mazooma/QPS (NMTJ's etc) that can be forced if you catch them right.Originally Posted by Slotterman
In fact I had my first gamble on the fruit machines in a while today, forced a few machines- Deal or No Deal (Hi/Lo version) which was playing well and a QPS machine called Hiss Squid or something, not quite sure. Also forced a Red called Slider which went for £50 after £20 or so in.
The Hiss Squid (Anyone heard of this????- new or old?) was like a NMTJ's and was full from the off. Took £30 to force out a Mega Streak (which collected automatically and not on red) which went for £32. Then proceeded to build a nice bank up to £72 by collecting streaks, one red hi lo and a few other boards- caught a nice streak which was the result of forcing to trigger it. In fact after collecting the £72 I played another board and collected a £2 repeat which repeated 6 times so caught a very nice streak indeed!
The Red machine Slider (I'm now more confident on them) wasn't backing but offering boards in quick succession and cash was going up to £4 regularly, along with a few features turning red, so I decided to force out the Big Money which went for a nice £50.
So I wouldn't say it was just older Barcrests that you can force, as long as you can tell whether a machine is worth playing or not, then there are a multitude of manufacturer's machines that can be forced.

While ago watched some poor bugger spend the best part of two whole days play ploughing into a BarX7's, deliberately refusing wins in a vain effort to force the machine out on a big run. Well, he got royally stuck. Predictably, the machine resorted to a higher percentage than usual of spin straight in wins as compared to nudges / holds to compensate for his messing. He gave up after a £750 pasting, biggest run he got was for £160.
Thinking about it, he was on the machine for approx 15 hours. One of these buggers on autoplay on 30p/p must take about £300 / hr through the mech (£5 / min). So he prob put £4500 through the machine. I know it was set at 86%, so over that period of time, he 'should' have lost £630 quid anyway......Frightening really. So I suppose his efforts at trying to force just cost him an extra £120 for his troubles - Ha, Ha
cheers fellas seem you have not only saved me the best part of a grand but also a couple of days of my life - thanks.
You are right about not forcing a magic 10, a chap in my local arcade was on a magic 7 with £5 X's, £10 bars and £25 7's and seemed to be knocking back most of the fivers, didn't seem to do him any good he lost a packet. On the plus side when he left it did pay me over £150 for about £40-50 in, including lots of wins that rolled right in although obviously none of the elusive sevens. A good result, would of been even better if the magic 10 next door hadn't raped me first ! Still about even over the 2 machines together. I know you shouldn't play them but i love them, there is no better machine to play when it wants to 'drop it bollocks' - what other machine excluding s16's can drop a £200+ streak. Although to be fair no others can take over a ton with no sniff of a win.
