Nice write up, haven't gambled like that for a while!!

How did you only spend £40 though? Seems like you lost on pretty much every machine you played- £110 in, £90 out, £15 in, £10 out etc..

Find £100 on the way home?

Hmm I dunno exactly how it panned out, all I do know is I went out with £200, and got back with £160 after many many drinks and other sundry expenses

I did turn a reasonable profit on a couple of machines, and even the relative shitters like the largely dead Six Shooter didn't pan out too bad.

Plus the Fortune £500 was a very nice and pretty simple £20 profit.

Even the "bad" ones turned out OK on that night, like the Bullseye spitting £90 back out, or getting £10 back on the Top Gear, or managing to get the £15 off Bank Roll on Super Breakout.

TBH I thought it was going to be a "get home with more than I went out with night" up until I hit that bastard Bullseye

seems like u have quite good discipline mate, mine is usually very good until ive had a few drinks then it kinda of goes pear shaped. for example good friday was a bit pissed and was taking a bit of a beating on machines i should of cut my losses on, was lucky on that occassion as a couple of s16's came to my rescue. perhaps this should go under the how jammy with last £ post but was on the holy grail s16 and down to 50p and 4 goblets popped in for a tenner back up to max bet next spin £70 of holy grails first two columns and two on third 'reel' not bad eh shame it wasn't a full board but cant complain.

Nice write up there Mr. Turnip, you made me think of some of the 'tours of duty' I have done! BTW was Six Shooter Vivid, and if so was it chipped? (Probably)

Yep it's the Vivid one, and it's well and truly chipped. There's a video attached to this thread that demonstrates quite clearly how chipped it is

Direct link to the file here, the video shows me gambing out the JP on the cash column after doing the red board Upper Crust knockback, and the next feature entry isn't red

Chopley, on video 3, is that a Knight's Trail or similar clone? I'm yet to see one of those £25, first time I've seen them go over it!!

Did you force it out, 9/10 it means a loss on those heaps of shit

It's a Global called "Reel Good Time" - it's one of the most perpetually happy machines I've ever found, it's always either full or within a tenner or so, and can invariably be forced for the top MEGA SERIES for a reasonable profit.

The mega series seems to be between £30 and £50, to be followed by a £15 board (the block at £15 is REALLY obvious) and then maybe a £7 or £8 board after that.

Had one of my worst results on it a couple of nights ago, but even that was a £30 mega series with a follow up £15 board and then dead, which meant £45 out for less than that in.

It also helps though that the operator who sites the machines in that pub sets to 84%, which is a bit more generous than usual.

Nice one, I will keep an eye out for that machine. Usually the Global machines are horrible to force, although only a Knight's Trail springs to mind- blatant block at £15 for a mega streak of £25 and dead
