Would appreciate any advice on Monopoly 3 Player machines. Lost a lot on this and other bandits a year or so ago and have stayed away since but a couple of times in recent weeks have been drawn back to The 3 Player Monopoly and would love to have a few tips that would help me get my revenge! Have read a lot on here and searched for monopoly but not found that much. Any help appreciated. What is a "Whistle" - is it a little tune the machine plays?
Jock, use the 'search' facility at the top of the screen on the general fruits forum to search for old relevant posts, there's been plenty of posts in the last 4 months about Monopoly/Golden Game, although ultimately it all seems a bit confusing and may depend on the chip status of the machine.
Descriptions of whistle etc. and the nudge differences are there.
Be careful with the search though cos it doesn't recognise 3-letter abbreviations (VIU, LAB etc.)
There is also a video of an emptier available on e-bay that I bought, pm me if you want.

Welcome to the forum Jockee, just read through all threads relating to multi-position machines (party time/golden games etc) and you'll get the "gist" of what your looking for
Cath,
have you tried that video in the real world yet??

Stew, yes, tried the video method. It's for a 3-player sit down, with the Screen. The video shows a profit of well over £100, supposedlly on a machine that was backing when started. I've never achieved any profits like that, but it's also very difficult to find a machine that's backing straight away. Mostly the profits seem to be very modest, £10-£20 maybe, but I've had it up to £60 on a machine that was backing after about £30 in. Other posts in the old threads suggest that it depends on the chip of the machine and that maybe they've now all be re-chipped.
Zorro knows a bit more on this, and R6 has also posted some experiences.....
I still use the video method, mostlly either to break even or for a small profit. Better than a loss, I suppose since I'm not a major player.

It is a 3 player machine and you all stand up - no built in seats. Did not notice the makers name - but if you get 3 little mens faces you get £25 and if you get note - note with monopoly on it - note you get onto the top feature. Is this party time or golden games?
Jock, your machine is Monopoly. Golden Game is a very similar machine. Party Time etc are all a similar kind of thing but not the same.
