think I have just fathomed how too work this
went for lunch in local checking out fruits
2 oldies LOTR plus gheronimo had £30 in coins
so tried out LOTR first £10 in and up too£7.00
on gamble then kept knocking me bk £35.00 later
eventually dropped £25.00 flat another £5.00
after was getting £1.00 so walked next machine
even worse £15.00 in 2 features nothing left
pub down a fair bit went too my local
good old barmy army put £5.00 in £25.00
out just shows barcrest rule any thoughts on this
was it the way I played the 1st two older machines
refil on a monday apparently or just they are poor
payouts or is it just all down too luck

To be fair, getting JP from a bellfruit within £30 when the £7 block is on is an achievement in itself.

Agreed though, where do you live to have all that.. I'm guessing seaside town??

Blackpool has stacks of em, but you will (well i do anyhow) notice that alot of small distributors are still dishing them out to local pubs, we have a local around here with a barmy army installed

I live nr guilford the lotrs is the 1st one so shows how
old without the symbols for feature I have been
shoveing/playing for 15 yrs now not like really big steaks
more for fun on wkend went bk onto barmy army today
got the feature stack and timed out/by this you mean
after repeat flashes (yes/no)left it for a while and went too no
oh well had a good result last wkend in bournmouth arcade
caned a monopoly around the world £75 then onto
party time up top straight £25 then onto stampede
2 reels £47 put £3 in each machine until dropped it
so all in all made bout a £100 not too bad has anyone else had
a good experience with stampede or mono round the world

lotr rules, absolutely excellent sound effects, much more fun than sitting thru the film especially the first one ( it was just a rip of an old film called willow!! ).

I found it a real struggle and it just
didnt want too go I gambles it on the cash stack
too jp there is no streak on this machine or have
I just not found it I think maybe best just
staying away from lotr and sticking too my barcrests
also there isnt many people from the south on site
do you think that is because they dont play the fruits
as much down south

There was an emptier for the first LOTR. Doubt you have the unchipped version but always worth a go if it is really old!

an emptier you say! lol no such thing for this machine
the superhold cheat worked for a while but as it wasnt a feature available within the feature games itself it was never an emptier - just had to wait till it was happy enough to dish on out in reel play.

now the superhold cheat did work on it SRR and you could empty the machine made a few quid on these back in the day

Had an unchipped cop the lot until very recently. 100+ every visit, never totalled it tho so it lasted for ages . Also, I think I am right in saying LOTR wasnt as intensely chipped due to the limitation already described. Found more LOTR worked than the others.
