    Default Extreme Jailbirds - expert views?

    Went to the pub on Saturday with a mate to watch the England game… nearly threw up with the crap we saw in the first half, so for the second half we went on the new fruity they'd got in; an Extreme Jailbirds;

    We'd been keeping an eye on it before, and no-one had hit anything decent. (I've never seen any 'skilled players' in my neck of the woods - not that I'm one either!). We were playing 50/50 and I was not impressed with it really. Got to the board plenty of times, but I thought there were way too many features on each level meaning you needed a mega load of picks to advance up…
    We weren't forcing or anything, but did eventually get to the top level where I took 'Super Streak' expecting at least 25 quid… but it only gave us 12 - WTF???

    After about 30 mins and 20-30 blown away my mate ran out of dosh, so I carried on alone. Being a bit more of a gambler than him I changed the stake from 25p to 50p as this increases the return by 6% from 82 to 88% (bit of a joke to me as I mostly play online slots where they're 94-96%… and they're not rigged!). 2 minutes & 10 quid later I'd had enough & went to walk away, but my mate said 'go on - just stick one more tenner in' and against my better judgement I did;
    Didn't get any invincible, reds or any other signs, but just went for it anyway and it finally gave me the top Swag Bags feature. I was only expecting £25, so I was delighted when it actually repeated twice for 75 notes!

    I was pretty chuffed with that; it almost made up for having to watch England's schoolboy performance. (Bit of an injustice to schoolboys - they would probably play better).

    Anyway, long story; short 'newbie' question for the experts:-
    Do you think I only got the Jackpot + repeats because I was playing at 50p, or was that just coincidence & I would have got it anyway if playing at 25p?

    PS: Going back there on Wednesday & hoping for a similar result from the fruity - but a MUCH better one in the footy...

    Sorry, what do you mean by 'the spins go on to 4'?
    Is that 4 free-spins on the bonus board?
    (I'm not that familiar with the machine - I've only played it the once!)

    Thanks!

    Judge these by cash stack starts and cashpot starts.....

    If they start at £3+ and pots at £5+, just force it on 50p play. Shouldn't cost a great deal, and they tend to streak miles better than the older extremes.

    If you get a superboard and a shot opens up the next level, then you will pick up more shots on the board for the higher level. Useful to get yourself extra spins and a longer board. Generally when its not playing it'll be a pig and not progress up the shot levels anyway.

    The only set up on these that works is the +4, which doesn't like to go up very often either. Usually just boost or stoppa on trail 5-7.

    £12 Super streak is low, but not a shocker, highest usually off any super streak ive seen is £18

    I mostly play online slots where they're 94-96%… and they're not rigged!
    Lets not get onto that one, thats VERY debatable

    From the introduction of multi-stake awps not so long back, one can only assume that various factors can contribute, what im interested in, is why they have decided to go down this road, i mean I know we've come a long way since the old donkey kong "MISTAKES" whoops, but these manus only have to make a certain mistake in their coding which is gonna affect percentage and thats when theyre gonna end up in liquidation

    KK, next time you play it, do a similar thing.

    Play on the 25p for a while and lose quite a bit, then bang a tenner in later on 50p play. If you get a similar good result, then maybe that is a little method you've found!

    I doubt it mind, but you never know as these multi stakes types of machine are relatively new after all as Danny points out.

    Thanks for all the tips guys!

    I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow...
    Hopefully England 4-0, KK £50-0!

    I know I can't prove it to you, but the vast majority of the slots on the well-known brands of software are 100% definitely not rigged. (My results speak for themselves)
    They do not need to be rigged - the mathematics takes care of the house edge.
    The only ones that are 'rigged' are not surprisingly the ones described as 'UK pub style fruitys'! Here the software emulates the ridiculous aspect of UK machines. e.g. On a high-low wheel, if you're on 2 chances are it will go to 1.

    But like you say - lets not get into that one here or we'll end up with a mega thread!

    Come on England!

    I think what Danny C meant was it is very debatable that you are playing 94-96% AWPs. Are you talking about Sec 16's ?? as I dont think I have ever found an arcade that set their AWP's to 94 %

    Places where they site machines between 82 - 88 % are good if you ask me. It is when you find 70 - 74% places that are bad

    Top Forum Offers
    JP, he said "online slots", which in my eyes are VERY debatable, not wanting to raise the issue in this thread though... whats your view on this?
