    Default Newly installed Machines

    Hi there everyone.

I went yesterday to a few of my local arcades and some had new machines on site not to sure of the names but they may have been:

    diamond 7 - 50p spin
    bankroll- 25p spin
and the other was oriential style 50p spin it was a bit like bullion bars but instead of 'bar' in had 'fortune'. 3 X's was £5, 3 'fortune's' £10/20, 2 'fortunes' & 'fortunes jackpot' in the middle was £35, and there was another symbol to get the game up top.

On the Oriential one I won £50 after £2 in, which is good for me as I only play for fun.

Diamond 7 was £40 after £2 in ( gave me a hold on 3 bars)

And bankroll - I think that is what it was called was my fav I won about £75 possibly more, but I don't know exactly what I put in to get that. This machine was very unusually styled it was 50's or 60's but then I'm 25 so I'm guessing what stuff looked like back then from tv..lol The unusual thing about this machine was instead of it showing an digital display of your winnings/credits it visually showed it in coins against a measure so if your won say £20 there was 20 £1 coins in there, the measure went up to £50 so if you won more than that it spat them out and re filled the measure to show your next win. I hope I explained that ok...bit confusing. It reminded me of a money bank really.

So what I really wanted to know is has anyone experienced these machines (above) and is it true (like i found) that newly installed machines play well because it takes them a while to get settled and adjust the % payout etc.

    Many thanks

    Isn't diamond 7 the £35 version of Bar x 7's ?
I wish manu's would put more thought into quirky ways to show banks, pay out etc.
There is a lo tec that physically fills a trail up on the top glass with pound coins like it's fillling a road with traffic and you're just dying to fill the whole thing (£50).
The Monopoly lo tec was inventive with the commnuity chest and chance cashpots, even if only for show but sadly many aren't filled these days, or they don't refill 10p by 10p which was the fun bit.
I'd like to see some inventive creation here, more quirky ways of adding to a bank or paying a Jackpot.

Thing is, the big profits for manu's come from lo-tec's. No-brainers are the way it'll all end up eventually IMHO.

People just don't want to have to think about what there doing, they just want to put the money in, press play, and see a win or lose.

Yes that sounds just like the machine I'm referring to, called 'The Bankroll. Its so good I want one for home. There's a big spinning disk up the top with £10 max on but on the reel it's 3Xbarcrest symbols for a jackpot £25, 3x X's is a bankroll which means you can spin the top disc however many times until it states 'stop' But there is a 'bankroll' symbol on the reels as well and for everyone of those you get on the payline you get a free spin in the top disc.

    I got £75 - £100 again on this today

I agree kidgloves this visual experience is at times such a draw/attraction, a think flashing lights is one thing but it's become the norm these days, it can get boring after a while.

With reference to the diamond 7 yes kidgloves you probably right I think it was actually called Diamond Bar X 7 if that is actually possible.

While we are talking about these, does anyone know if it still does 3 rolls on bars (3x£20) and a 3 roll on the sevens (3xx£35)?? Just curious to know if they changed it in anyway, hold is always a win, and ever nudge is a win too, can only hold once on a win, and same when it rolls in, and roll twice more back to back or hold just the once???

Zorro, Exactly the same ways of paying out as £25 Magics etc. Does do 3 wins in a row (occasionally)
    Reel setups somewhat different though......

There have been problems with the first batch of these machines manufactured (sited approx 3/4 months ago)...............many had to go back to the Electrocoin factory. Sadly not a manipulatable fault!
Also, a standard £250 hopper on these machines is useless. Everyone plays with notes and collects coins and as £100 payout on these machines is nowt special, they are CONSTANTLY running empty
