Default Jackpots that rock and roll

I've never liked these machines (or variants of). On very rare occasions I'll play them, but to be frank I find they are shit.
Sometimes in excess of £5 upwards to get a cash win, which then you can lose all too easily, very poor programming that gamble to feature entry is, if you've paid enough just to get a win in the first place then you don't expect it to block the feature entry so much.
If you do have the luck to get onto the board, it's rigid £3 stuff with the odd £5 value board now and again.
I fail to see how this can entice anybody to play. I was £18 into one the other day with only 2 feature boards which offered £3 value and both lost. I'd been offered a cash win to gamble for the board 6 times but only 2 actually went up.
Dire, absolutely dire. Now maybe there is somebody exploiting something on this so I'm playing dead machines, but I've never seen one of these actually in any kind of generous mood.
I hate to think what forcing would be like, Globals of old were notorious for sucking if you forced with no obvious streak to play for. I don't know if these are any more responsive to a force, but I just wouldn't try.
It took me all of 5 minutes to put the £18 quid through and get very annoyed at the end of it, and it takes *A LOT* to get me annoyed when playing a machine, I can shrug off big losses if I've had a good game, or read the machine wrong myself, but this I really feel is an effort of such poor programming it just makes my blood boil.
Never again, it's had it's second, third and probably fourth chance to suprise me, no more.

I agree, poor poor excuse for a fruit machine tp be honest. There is one in my local and i always here coins dropping down the back and never hear of anything exciting coming back out! See the odd £10 win, but like Kid says get a fruit win and i'd say that 1 in 3 will gamble to the feature, and then when you exchange, utter dier.

I have heard that a force is very costly, and RED top feature doesn't always reep the rewards for the cost that you've invested into it!

I played a clone of this today (yes, hypocrite or what!) by one of Global's offshoots, Voodoo Gaming. It was Money Magic and I've had a little experience of it before. On each experience with this machine it seemed to play so much better than it's Global brand counterparts. The cash gamble isn't as harsh, wins more frequent and better values on the feature board.
Why such a change in profile I can't understand, but it makes for a slightly more enjoyable game.

Cool Jackpot that you never get, and have never seen roll!

Kid after all the slagging this machine has had from us I think I might have found a fair part of the program!!!

After I saw a guy leave a 3rd hold for cherries, i decided to try one and one pound only. When it held I was half way there, just had to get the bastard to gamble, which it did, an acheivement in itself!

The feature ended up offering £8 cashpot, which i decided to take. After a win like that it usually then takes about a week to get a cash win to gamble for the board, but not this time. Every feature offered between £4 - £10 from features and cash wins, but it started the usual profile of 1 in 3 cash wins gambling, so really was making about £2 a board. But after 45 mins, and 36 more pound coins than when I started I was happy.

Reminded me a little of the old school streaks on IJ2 and Pound of the Baskervilles when you got a fearure pratically every credit, which was anything from £30-70 profit.

Did have a look around to see if I could find out anymore chat about this machine, but its all slagging, so i'm just guessing that I found it at a lucky time! Just curious how often these generous parts of the program occur??

I've checked out Games Medias website.

They now offer to their customers ( Gamestec, Crown , LL etc etc) a choice of profile for their machines, for example, less jps more frequent small wins, more jps, less small wins, or in between.

So as a player, how do you know what program it is set at and which strategy to adopt,

but one thing is for certain,

    Their machines are SHIT

That's not entirely unprecedented, many years ago Whitbread asked for special profiles of machines for their pub chain, designed to be flatter profile, less JPs, less streaks, less appealing to pros, more appealing to the casual player.

You can tell their chip revisions because they come up with

    WHITBREAD PRESENTS

on the alpha instead of MAYGAY PRESENTS or whatever.

There are a few of them emulated, and it's interesting to see the differences, but like I say, we're talking about pretty old machines, ACE's Up Pompeii and suchlike.
No links to anywhere from me mofos!

Nothing new with those profile settings.

These can be absolute buggers to play, and the turbo gamble is a joke to be honest. I've heard of £200+ into a MM for red MM before (thankfully not me!).

I've forced JPTRAR and MM before, and luckily never got stung. JPTRAR did £75s, but i'd stuck a good £70 in. This was from regular £5rpt boards and a couple of rejected £10 pots. God only knows what you're in for if you try earlier than there! I've decided never to force one again though, as sooner or later i'll come a cropper. Just nick stuff. MM is better on the super shots, as wizards wealth is good (8 shots if you stop on the 4+bonus), while 4/5 super shots are lower down and offerd more regularly. These can give £10-£20 odd.

Big money can be £15, so never take that either.

Ok totally confused went into a pub i dont usually drink in tonight with a mate the only reason being popping in was to play on the happy campers machine make a few quid out of good old extreme whilst playing this machine with my mate stood next to me. A smart well suited business man no drink walks over to the jackpots rock and roll machine (which i no nothing about but have played a magical version which did seem quite fun but no big wins) He always put 2 quid in at a time and ever lost he never collected anything less than a 5er after collecting 22.00 from the centre meter he then took jack pot repeater all in all on average he walked out 75quid up to my recoing bareing in mind i was watching my fruity. What confused me most was the fact as soon as he finished he pretended to make a phone call then fucked off. What was this bloke doing and how? About 10mins later 2 other blokes come in take around 20quid again out of the machine in one go then feed a little and take little wins. They how ever i dont think new what they where doing howvere i mite be wrong. I then went on the machine paying in 2 quid at a time after a few 4-6 quid wins it let me on with a 10er which i stupedly didnt take. Then started eating money! The machine all in all with in 2 hours must have dropped easily 100! Why how who was he bloke Can any one help? If anyone knows how he did it would be very appreciative due to haveing a few of these machines aeound me!

There is a cheat, top secret- top of the food chain, probably a programmer or a close aquaintance, do you live near any fruit machine software houses?

    Seen loads Refill X188 etc.

Probably won't filter down to this level, but you never know?
