On the right hand side of the surround of the screen there is a black area with a load of text in relating to what the max prize is, info about gamcare etc etc. It also states the percentage payout. When these machines first came out I swear all the ones I saw stated a percentage of 94%.
Don't play these much so havn't paid much attention, but have noticed recently that some machines have had this area of text 'cut out' and replaced with an identical piece of text except the percentage is now stated as 90%. Is this common? Have the percentages on these been reduced to pay for the higher license costs these machines now attract?
Even more dodgy, saw a slotto in a motorway services yesterday. The area of text had clearly been 'cut out' and replaced only this time the new text didn't even state a percentage payout! Would it be possible that the section 16 type machines in motorway servives are set at even lower than 90%???
Robbing buggers if so...........
Probably are!!!
Another question, seems as when they can out they basic rules were that each line could only pay a maximum of £25, hense making it basically a multi lined AWP. But when the likes of cashino came out you could win £500 on 50p stake, fuckin hard I might add, well surely now the fact that AWPs are £35 JP does this mean that in theory the JP could now be £700???? See what I'm fishing at.
Couldn't really give a rats arse coz I don't play them, but how much more would people be attracted to them if they banged another £200 on top of the current state!?!?!?![]()

Thing is zorro on a Cashino you are still playing 20 bets at 2.5p on a lower percentage setting.
They are crafty because I could never really work out how the features worked on a Cashino. Somebody told me that if a win rolls in aswell as the roulette Icons you could not win the £500 as it would require all 20 bets and if the win falls in you have lost one.
I then spoke to a Fruity Engineer and he said otherwise and said it is treated as a seperate game and you can get the £500 aswell as a board win. How true that is I dont know
GB74 as for your first question you may find different locations have different settings probably their choice
JP, most 'Fruity Engineers' know absolutely fuck all and will tell people anything.
GB74, the first few Party Games Slottos to be sited had a variable percentage option. This was removed quickly as it was felt, quite rightly, that every machine should return the same percentage regardless of location - so in theory a player would get the same experience from the machine whether in their local arcade or down the Bingo club.
All Party Games Slottos are on 94%. If they say anything else on the disclaimer, it's bullshit. I've even been in an arcade where the toe-rag owner has put his own signs on the machine, saying 'This machine pays between 90% and 110%'. What an absolute tosser.
Zorro, the max jackpot for a S16 game is still £500, despite the new £35 jackpots. Nice idea though!![]()

But Steve, surely this is only theoretical? Is this stated in the regulations, because if it is, its pretty damn stupid imo... (not from a gambling perspective)?Originally Posted by SteveDude2
