I posted a thread the other day asking for where i could learn more about fruitties. Ive learnt that its more important to catch the machine at the right time than to play all that well. That was certainly the case 2day, i went to the pub inbetween lectures and started playin on the Barcrest High Flyer (25p a spin £25 jackie), i took out £92 after putting £6 in. I never won the jackpot once, the most in one go was a tenner the rest was 5ivers n that. Its certainly the most ive won in one go (as im a novice).
Anny comments on this machine and what is the most you have ever won in one session on one machine????????

There was a power cut in the arcade and when the juice came back on i put 20p in spotted dick. 1st spin for jukebox and 3quid. 2nd spin gave the board, hitting all the corners, filled up for super jackpot, gave 8 repeats!!!!!!!! I collect and the machine empy's all the pound coins and has to finish paying me in 20p's. Another 20p in. 3rd spin gives the same quality board for super jackpot which just doesnt stop repeating. The arcade owner even came over and hit a couple of repeats for me. I think the bank reached 50 quid and the owner switched it off and paid me.
40p in -> 128 (i think) quid out.
Beat that!!
thats impossible because it only holds 75 quid and spotted dick repeats only once but twice very rarely the most mine was 2 pound in random spinner s16 150 out got three wheels span the wheel gave me £150 well happy

Incorrect. £5 jp Spotted Dick can repeat quite a few times.Originally Posted by badders

i have never seen it repeat more than once on the 5 pound verison down here

It's not impossible badders. It happened to me. However, I'm sure it was something to do with the power cut 'cos that last JP repeater would have gone forever i reckon. I'd already collected all but a few of the 20p's out of the machine so it was empty when it was giving me all these repeats. I never saw it act anything like that again. Just one of those freakish moments. Once, I was playing an old cops ' robbers when the tuppeny nudger next to me decided to just empty all coins into the tray. Nobody was playing it at the time. I pocketed all 20quid or so mainly in 20p's and left while the machine was still trying to pay out but was empty.
its true, weve had a problem with our spotted dick before where its just kept repeating and repeating untill it was empty.
It's great when a machine streaks for £100+ plus. Doesn't happen that often but great when it does!! Most I ever got on a £25jp machine was around £130 (profit as well) from a brand new Nuns and Roses. Got jp very early on from the cash, which triggered a lovely streak. Next board gave a £67 red mega streak, followed by another jp not long after and then a few more quality boards. Thing was, I left it and the next person to go on even got a £16 super streak- never seen a streak like it- excecpt maybe from a few Throw a Wobblers![]()
As for highflyer POB666, there are a few threads on this machine. Normally it is ruthless on blocking values (think it blocks at Tutty Fruitti forever), seems you caught it just as it was starting to streak and collected a very nice bank there. Just don't expect to see that too often
Especially £92 off collecting £5 wins at a time!
I was expecting it it stop paying out and do me thats why i was collecting 5ivers n that (i told you im a complete amature). Ive seen a pal of mine drop a £250 jackie out of a 4 reeler in Rileys Snooker Hall TWICE (not in one session), cant remember the machine name name. Whats your opinions on these 4 reelers, personally i think there shit

If you catch them playing well then they are great. I remember the Monopoly one- played it very similar to the way you played the highflyer- just collected £5 wins and got a bank upto £130Had I had any sense, I'm sure a force would have went well to get the jp, but I never had the balls.
Have seen someone put £700 into a Cops and Robbers Gold trying to force it and the jp was never close. I've heard that they can take £1,000 plus in stone cold forcing and still not drop a jp!!
You think about £25 jp machines and how much they can take for a flat £25, so the same thing goes for the £250 jp machines as well, just you're putting ten times as much in!
I'm sure there are a few people who are in with the clubs staff and get the thumbs up of when to play and how much has been taken out etc, but I know that my local Riley's is a very competitive place- one guy seems to do well on them but have heard they ruined him a few years back so couldn't be that successful for him!
Best way to treat the £250 jp machines- if I have a game of snooker then I'll often throw a tenner in to see how it is playing- treat it like a bit of fun- if it's offering good stuff, then maybe collect you're £30 or try a few more boards to see if it ready to offer something nice. But be careful not to get sucked in too much. So easy to try a tenner then change up another £20- but you've got to remember that £30 on these machines are like a £3 win in comparison to the jp on £25 machines and it might take another £100+ to get passed the block it is on to offer a little bit more- before you know it you're withdrawing money from the bank to throw in the change machine and it just gets messy.
So, best thing is set yourself a limit of what you're gonna lose- and try and stick to it- obviously if it's offering £30 quite regular and you're out, then it's worth playng on and collectcing that value at least and trying to get some value back that way!
But in all honesty, to contradict myself, just stear clear of them.
