A quick question provoked by some of the posts I've been reading.
I've heard a few members refer here to backing! I assume this is the point where coins start to divert indicating the hopper is full.
What on earth does this have to do with the price of fish?
Does it help my strate gy of forcing a machine? er...no!
Does it mean the comps will suddenly go in my favour?...errrr....no!
Also the refill key. Yes I suppose there are some uses here and there but knowing how much is in the hopper is irrelevant. Bout as useful as knowing when its backing!

Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
he is quite aware.
the problem is, companies are not resetting the buttons after refill, plus all the other things to put off the semi-pro.
Backing has one simple use.Originally Posted by huemax
Think about it, If you have a machine with a method that means a payout of £50- £80, sometimes £100+, then backing is extremelt important. If it is backing and not a refill on that day, you know it hasn't been hammered any time soon, and if it has, it has been filled back up by other players.
Doesn't actually impove your chances of winning per say, but the above point is extrememly important in determining whether you are going to commit £50 of your money into a machine.
If you throw £20 into machine and it isn't backing after £20, then it is likely somone took a relatively large amount out before you. Backing is extremely useful as a result.
