    Default Barcrest Jackpoteers

    Right heres the situation,

In our local for the past few years we've had a Spiker The Biker which was a £5 JP. I know these are disliked (the £5 JP that is) but between my knowledge for the machine and my refill key I could always make a profit off of it. However, yesterday the machine was replace by Barcrest's Jackpoteers.

Tonight the float was at £96 pounds (presumeably out of £125) and I put in £3 pound and took £6 out (£2 repeater) but I guess that was luck.

I was wondering if people had any tips for this particular machine. It is also a £5 JP but was hoping I could get to know it as well as the Spiker one.

I'm afraid I don't have anything to offer in return.

The idea was to knock back all wins and IM boards causing it to go mental. I wouldn't bother on a £5 machine as it would probably cost you just as much to buzz as a normal machine and the return wont be great

the 25 pound version of this can be great. That 6 you got off the repeater is about as big a win as you'll get. Jacpoteers'll either pay a few quid quickly or just stay dead for ages and ages

Bloody hell, you had a Spiker that only just got replaced by a Jackpoteers?
Are you living in a timewarp ?
Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"

Yeah in this particular pub the owner doesn't want to pay the license fee so sticks to £5 JPs. It's a local guy who gives him these bandits every couple of years so this ones going to be hear for a while which is why I'd love to know how to play it! The next closest is a DNA (Red) or a Quality Streak.

Well the time warp continues, Jackpoteers (£5 JP) looks like it's here to stay and although I don't play it that often it seems really random. Refill key said it was sitting at £99 today so my mate and I thought "what the hey" and put £2 in... Cash Streak! Long story short we put in £8 between us and took £27 out (3 £5 Cash Streaks, repeaters etc).
How on earth are you meant to predict what mood this thing is in?

It get's played fairly often but usually only Cash Streaks for £5. Is it worth employing the "knock back 3 IM's then taking the streak method"?
