Hi, I've been playing fruit machines ever since I can remember, but I've only just started to become really interested in them. I have begun by reading through various websites but can't make sense of much.

Could somebody please explain "barcoding" to me? I was reading about Homer's Meltdown and it mentions something about Moes tavern and then "barcodes". I just can't make sense of it.

Barcodes... simple

the combination of barcodes in sequential or inverted order.

ie: 3Bar, 2bar, 1bar
1Bar, 2Bar, 3Bar

This gives barcode features where you then tap in a random 3 part code using the hold/nudge buttons which then awards you extra features.

They eventually did away with the barcode, and todays machines its usually a red strip behind the fruits you have to get 3 in a row of. Im sure on this site SOMEWHERE is listed all the codes for all the barcode features for all machines, if not, fruit emu's the place to go!
