When a force goes tits up

I don't know if this machine has had something done to it, but had a near bad experience on a Pink Panther today.

It was backing off the 2nd pound (not a refill either), offering Red HI LO and Red Fast Cash from within first £10 in. If I'm not normally seeing these signs after £10 I try and collect a decent feature and walk, but it was playing well so carried on. Another £40 later and it had offered everything except the mega streak, even the bonus was refusing to give SSS.

It was obsolutely thriving but refused to give the mega streak. Thought I'd see gow far it would go (only had £80 in coins) so tried another £20 and still no mega. It was starting to get ridiculous so collected a red hi lo which gave £11. Next board- £8 in the cash pot- another red hi lo, then it gives a mega streak for £32 followed by another board that offered £10 (off a red 7's win) which I collected.

I was out of coins now, £80 in for £72 out- the strangest experience on a fruit machine I have ever had. Considering it was offering £11 in the first place off £2 in, the machine was clearly capable of paying out, yet it completely refused to give a mega streak, even within £60. The fact it could afford to pay it out was shown by the wins it gave and I used to build my bank back up.

I've seen blocks before but this was quite a harsh one and certainly very unusual for these machines, so be careful guys. Maybe they have put this in to stop an all out force for the mega streak- which is stupid if they have because the resulting wins added up to what it would have paid thereabouts anyway

The bank building almost reminded me of playing a BFM lol!

I don't think so. I've had one do this a couple of times, it's unlucky if you get them like this but mine have always gone eventually, most I've paid is £90 but I've never had a proper streak off a Mega on Pink Panther yet, just the £12-16 quid extra + SSS again.

There is a cheat for these machines available allegedly.

Probably why you will find more experiences like this in the future.

It wasn't that it couln't afford to pay though, it was clearly holding back the megastreak. Purely out of blocking software it seemed.

The fact it could pay was shown by me getting me money back.

Plus it was backing off 2nd pound

I had a Grand Blaster Cash play incredibly tight last week (on one of my very rare sessions out around town).

Showing all the good signs from the off, SSS came after about £30 in, knocked two of them back but was already a little bit concerned because it wasn't coming in pretty much every bonus. (Which it usually does in my experience.)

Then it played serious hardball to finally bag the mega streak which went for a flat £25, and then fuck me if it didn't take another £20 back in to get SSS back, mega streak another flat £25.

Really quite bemused I decided to punt it for another few boards and it was playing OKish but not fantastic, so I'd already decided to take a fast cash or two and walk, when out of the blue it awarded mega streak on about the third gamble on the board.

Another flat £25 from that and then it was totally dead, so I walked away a few quid down.

This has always been a pretty reliable machine and I've never seen it behave like this before, although I'd be surprised if Mazooma were rechipping such a relatively elderly machine.

Just goes to show, even our most trusted machines can sometimes surprise us.

as long as they keep makeing machines there will always be hints emptiers steals unless they decide to stop it all and thats highly unlikely

Back to normal service yesterday

IM followed by SSS and two red hi lo's

. Although I think someone had been hammering it and ran out of money because first board was £12 cash and backing off first pound!! As was the Flash Cash next to it which gave £38 Flash Cash streak off £4 in lol!

Must have just caught it at a weird time last time

Alright Vivida, nah not the Arrowe Park, have they got a Flash Cash in there now? It is my local but haven't been in for ages!!

Last time in there they had a Chav It and some monopoly type game. May have to pop in and see what's new

Where do you live btw, I live practically 100 yards away from the Arrowe Park
