If you've got enough money to buy an arcade, you should be more than well off anyway!

buying a decent arcade in a city centre location would generate millions a year of profit I am sure but finding someone willing to sell... keep dreaming.
Why has it come to this?

You are right though Badders, if you owned an arcade, you would be fuckin laughing all the way to the bank.
I have got a fruit machine in my house, from 1999- in total it has taken £180,000ish in coins and paid out just £130,000ish (can't remember exact figs without looking) so that is a profit of £50,000 odd in 7 years. £7,000 a year off one machine (that is just a rough estimate off my machine- don't know if it was in a pub or what- arcade machines probably have a lot more going through them) You would be rolling in it considering all the machines in an arcade!!![]()
Considering the boom in s16's and the amount of money put through them, having an arcade would be amazing at this point in time.
There's a city centre location in Glasgow for sale at the moment, prime location but it always seemed to be dead... Dunno why? I played it a few times, wasn't great but had a lot of recent machines and pool tables etc.

if you have the capital to get one then i would - just dont expect any short term profit - things take time...
if you really wanted to you could always buy a franchised one...
