Day in Blackpool

just got back from blackpool. dont often go, but thought it would be a laugh and last time i went was over a year ago. overall was an interesting day and as you can tell i had a full day of lo-techs. Went with a friend who doesnt know everything but knows how to play the basics on golden games and the setups on the ole' party times.

North Pier Amusements

Locals playing the golden game (which was 25p play), always try to avoid the 25p ones as they seem to take for fucking ever to get onto a streak. watched from a distance, they were clearly on the "light" streak as i could see them holding the nudge setups like so...

The arcade also had a party games 4 players with queue system. tried all of them for an X win, obviously they didnt result in a board so left them alone.

Overall the arcade was full of locals, i know from previous visits that most are not allowed in the main arcades such as coral island or fun palace. So i suppose they have to come somewhere.

Spent around £10 then left.

Jesus christ, only in Blackpool you would say. saw a golden game from the doors so we stepped in to check it out. the machine had more broken lights than working ones, the top reels were out of line and a rather strange notice on the side "PLEASE NOTE - THIS MACHINE ONLY HOLDS £20, FOR WINS OVER £20 PLEASE CONTACT MANAGEMENT". never seen anything like this lol.

What a strange place, looks like this place collects multiplayers, from memory they had a Big Ben 3 Player, Top Slot 3 Player, Monopoly 3 Player, Gold Rush Stampede 4 Player, 2 x Party Time Bingo 4 Player, 2 x Party Time. ALL on 10p Play???? ALL IN A FREAKING SHOP LOL. not only that they had adders and ladders 4 player in the over 18's. Tried the Adders and ladders, got the 3 snakes on the line on player 3 and 4. 3 went for £50 and 4 went for just £25. Like to just force for them on the line on these, mixed results usually profit.

Played some of the 10p arena machines just for fun, the bingo top board was broke, so looks like no one has ever had a board on it since it had been there. was obvios as it paused for around 2-3 seconds everytime the X's came in. took me a good £20 to work this out lol.

Coral Island

Wow Lucky Us!!! Tom Jones live on stage at coral island? was very busy, all of his loyal fans must have been there LMAO. i like coral island as the machines are just so fucked and it just smells like a proper arcade hehehe. The locals cant seem to get in here just loads of tourists pouring money into the newly errected elvis shite.

Played the party time arena, nothing special just a couple of JP boards, but still around £20 profit each. Monopoly Arena was next.

Put £3 in player 3 and got a light after a nudge for the board, finally i thought... all in all it paid around £60 in lights, a JP which held and then the £25 end of streak board. Cost around £40 in all, a nice £140 out. pretty unusual. Player 2 did the same, but after around £40 in before 1st light, that paid around the £100 mark.

We left around £50 up each so we headed for a drink in the bar, the only arcade with a pub? lol wicked hehe.

Wow what a shithole? the same machines as last time dont think they had moved anything or bought anything new?? hate places like this, there must be a dead bodys behind some of their 5p machines.

Nearly killed my mate he put £2 in a BAR X, not realising it was 2p a fucking go. 10 mins later he got his £2 back lol.

Played the monpoly plasma at the back, took around £80 to get the light streak, which paid just over £100.

full of piss heads playing donkey derby. had to participate ... didnt win a teddy last time i was here they had a 3 player reno, which i IOU'd it for £3 woohoo! lol. This time they had Crazy Fruits Party, all of them backing, so obviously a refill day. tried them all just for laughs, 3 and 4 paid jackpots, whilst player 1 took the piss. £50 before anything. overall around £10 down


overall we had a laugh and came back around evens, anyone else been to blackpool, bloody hell Mr t's has gone down hill. remember playing sonic in there as a kid hehe

Was playing a CnR for time, managed to squeeze about £45 back from £80 in on a brute force, backing from the start too, fucking dodgy if you ask me

Too many 'players' as they like to call themselves flying about in blackpool, i mean they're even taking their little 8 year old brothers in and teaching them the old mtrs, doesnt work with me

Dont bother with blackpool, shite, only things worth raping are the pub machines and even then you have to watch out for the ones that have been severely raped before you got there

Barry Nobles Funland is alright as long as u like barx7's/magics - theres about 25 of the buggers in. Sadly all set a good 4 - 6 % lower than their inland sites.

Coral islands great cos it's just so busy. The main party time arena, the party games arena, the super reels arena all get a huge amount put through them..........and the barx7's/magics are all worth a dabble even on the shite percentages as theres ALWAYS a herd of pensioners busy bankrupting themselves! Last time I was in Blackpool I got there for 10am opening on a weekday. Within an hour there must have been over 50 people in the two all cash areas - not bad for 11am on a weekday!

Piers are for all the scummers the Noble Organisation have banned!!

Went in coral island when i was a real beginner (as still a beginner now-haven't got a funking clue most the time but i can afford it and find it all fun and so I want to enjoy life before i get run over by a bus).

There was a magic 7 in there I started to pay, it seemed to be on suck mode (no holds/nudges) but there was something about it which kept me stuffing money in! But isn't that the case with most these machines bloody theiving things. Anyway all of a sudden..... 'bobs your uncle' it just started spinning/ringing in win after win after win and the bank filled up so it started spitting the money out all over the floor.

I found that all the lights and the sound had broken and I had not really tested the buttons for this/ or was that because I was too lazy/drunk I don't know.

So that was my first experience of what I think you call forcing but I didn't even know I was doing it.
