does anyone have any playing guides for any of the new machines? i used to be a pro-player but have been out for 4 years and wanting to get back playing.
used to play and empty king kebabs, lock n load, flashback, red arrow, etc. Any help would be appreciated, and in time rewarded.

    iT'S CHANGED A LOT IN 4 YEARS M8!
No skill involved, scrapping for a few full machines, section 16 vomit to tempt you fromthe path, plus endemic lo-tech shite.
I'd stay away, and rember the end of the glory years as they were.
You'll get a few assholes bragging about their tactics and claiming to make x amount, but trust me it ain't what it was!

Baxter, by the sounds of it you must have made a fortune off the fruities before you quit 4 years ago so only worth getting back involved if you'll be happy with a small weekly profit and can find a few good machines that get played a lot in busy pubs but not hammered- ie people forcing them all the time and wrecking it.

I just go out once a week or fortnight usually and take as much value out of the machines I can for that day. I played today, first time in 3 weeks- Flash Cash, set up jp off tutti fruitti upgrade then forced for a Flash Cash feature that went for £43!! Only so good because left for 3 weeks lol.

Pink Panther- one was dead so left it- other one was backing and offering red hi lo from the off- done the SSS which works well on this I have found, followed by a nice £11 off Red Hi Lo- total of £68 for around £30ish in.

Then went to do the Phil Taylor Darts which went for £56 off £12 in- again, only because I had left it so long and obviously no one had really bothered to force it. Good day today- not always so good off such a small amount of machines. I've got a few others but wasn't driving today so just kept it to the 4 machines- 3 played well and I left the other one after £10 as it was playing shit and hardly likely to offer anything decent.

It is good for me because the only real other player in that area of where I live is a mug (not you Vivida- I'm glad we seem to play in different locations!! )- he collects anything reasonably big and puts it all back in and and claims to be a pro gambler. All good for me. Guess it depends largely on location.

On the whole, I agree with Rushmore as there isn't a living to be had, but the nice £50-£100 profit once a fortnight or so keeps me happy. Profit is profit at the end of the day.

Also, I bought a fruit machine about 2 months ago, and there is about £700 in coinds in it lol- everytime I play I just go home and fill up my bandit with all the winnings I make- nice little piggy bank

    Thumbs down

you are both so right. been out on the machines 3 times and most are dead. not enough choice. not enough playability anymore. c'mon you manufacturers, lets have some stop n steps back. jpm - get some "hotshot" n "5 liner" playability back. these machines out now are dull.

As a younger player, I think the machines now are OK, well a few of them anyway! I've got no idea as to what the machine were like back then so only have today's standards to judge by. Made £400 this week though off fruit machines alone, so can't complain. Although admitedly, this has been a freakishly good week with almost every machine I've played streaking- some better than others, ie, Throw a Wobbler
