First we had the "go all the way" streak give £75 most times.
Then it was reduced to £50 on newer machines.
So the other day I play a Dough ho ho with a bit of beer change and lo and behold get the IM. Mega streak for -- £32.
No follow up IM or even enhanced wins off the feature.
Nice on BFM, you can't even resist making the streak pot crap these days.

It is really weird theese BFM machines at the moment, I mean did you ever play the andt & decs saturday night takeaway?
That could take £100 to get £25 and never streak, although the £5 machines do have streaks but can also sting more than a red after a £75 top
Its only on loannnnnnn, its only on loaaannnnnn in Athens Grace will bring it back hommmmmmmmeeeee.

I thought all £25 BFMs could do a "lone" £25 (even off an IM board) and not go on the streak?Originally Posted by kidgloves
I had a Lockbuster (early £25 BFM) do a flat £25 off an IM board a few months ago, wasn't very happy like, but wasn't overly surprised either.
I do agree with the basic sentiment that BFM produce the wankiest fucking arse droppings of AWPs in the world though.
I think the "safest" era of getting a streak on BFMs was the £15 era, hit a full one that wasn't taking the piss and the JP would very rarely cost more than £20-£25, and the streak was a solid £45 if it went, £60 if you were lucky and maybe a couple of decent boards after that.
On £25 they're just a bit too fucking dangerous for my taste, although their very progressive nature means you can always "buy back" a decent chunk of your stake should a force go wrong.
No links to anywhere from me mofos!
Well maybe I've just been lucky with the IM's in my time, but I've rarely heard of a flat £25 out of the blue if you haven't been forcing.
As it was a 'go all the way' flashing logo I did expect that streak bank to unload its pants.
My thinking was as it took a credit and gave the extra £7 after the initial £25 then that 'saved it' from having to throw another IM. Crafty and tight if that's what they are playing at these days. There was no value in the afterplay though, which is a little annoying as afterplay is usually good for at least a tenner even off the back of a £50 streak, and this one didn't even yield that which made it all the more annoying.

It's more expected these day Kid. I've had IM on both Dough Ho Ho and Clown Around, and got £25 on both. Bloody awful machines to play as well.
I really used to like bellfruits back in the day. You could rip a nice £10+ Turbo Win, they could actually be forced without a bank loan. I've had quite a few £75s from the Diamond Mine series of machines too.
My faves of all time are probably:
Snake Rattle N Roll/LOTR 1
Happy Fruits/Crazy Fruits Down Under
Lockbuster/Easy Streak/Prize Is Right
Diamond Mine/Hells Bells/Pony Express
The Incredible Hulk
If you look at their releases since Pony Express, they really are awful. Nothing at all you'd want to go and play.
Butch Cashidy & The Sundance Quid
Dough Ho Ho
Take The Piece
Hot Rod
Chav It!
Clown Around
Bully's Prize Board
Wheel Of Wealth
Battleships & Cruisers
Powerball
Fat Boy Spin
Bullseye
Hill Billionaire
Pick Of The Pack
Saturday Night Takeaway
Jackpot Jokers
Crown Jewels
Golden Balls
I'm A Celebrity
Dreadful machines. Anyone agree with my selections?
Matt
I still have a P1 happy fruits (cancel stays lit once llit) on my travels and a CFDU. The happy fruits actualy gets plenty of play too. But the CFDU is in the far corner of an arcade and is left dormant most of the time. Cracking machines because most folk wont gamble the dodgy numbers.
Its the closest thing to how machines used to play and i must say a refreshing change!
And yes agree although CTL was ok but only with super hold.

I hate to be the odd one out but I find BFM machines to be very readable- £10 in and if offering really good stuff from the off- force it, and as Chopley says, you can build up your bank by collecting wins if the force goes tits up. But generally, £10 in, if playing well (cashpot entry etc) then force a bit then start collecting wins and kick off a mini streak- cash pot wins like to repeat on BFM a lot- especially on Jackpot Jokers from my experience.Originally Posted by MattB
That said, if you catch one sucking, it spells bad news- but that is the case with any machine that has just paid out big. No machines are tighter than RED gaming when they are not ready to pay -£20 in for a board that doesn't even give you 50p!!
the only decent red gaming machine is bonkers![]()
Pony express: I hit this machine on monday night and it has NEVER rolled for £50 or £75 ,tryed so many things to try and buzz it up and had zero sucess with it at all! Wierd![]()
Matty, I don't think you can just buzz a machine if it is not ready- no matter what you do!
For me, BFM are £10 in to see how playing and if well, take advantage of the frequent feature entries and build up a bank. Only force 'em when every board is offering like £15+ in the cashpot form the off!
