Just a question about the recent Extreme machines- like Round the Bend etc.
I know a few players have their own info on these but I've never really bothered playing them- just stick to Barcrest, a few BFM and Mazooma'a high low efforts and the one off other machine.
Played one (think it was Round the Bend) and backing off first pound and cash went upto £6. So thought I'd put a few more in (had float on me to do it) and after £35 in the cash had only gone upto £8 and it just seemed to be blocking like hell- next thing I got add nudges which auto collected the jp for me- wondered what the hell was happening at first lol! Played a few more boards recycling and got most of my money back.
Looking back I can't say I'd be confident playing one again, so what is the playing technique on these- force all out or recycle wins and hope to trigger a streak?
Just to add, I don't normally play them but I know where about 10 of them are lol and it's doing my head in avoiding them!
Are they all in pubs? Pub set extremes are a nightmare, and not normally worth forcing. They will often throw in the odd £6 board or two to trick you into the force, when in fact they are dead as a dodo.
Best thing is to look at what the cash starts at on board entry. Don't force it if under £3. Ideally you consistently want £4+ on the cash to get a JP within £15-£25. If it starts on £5, then it may well be a JP board.
Lower down, and you could be looking at £40-£60 force, often for a flat £25. To be honest mate, they are just awful.
Matt
i play these all the time, know a couple of reentry tricks on them which help....also have a way of gettin on the board frequently (more frequent than normal) so i find small wins often the way forward for me, with the chance of re entry. probably make on average £20 profit on each machine unless it sssuuuppppeeerrr dead!
woohoo

Cheers- Actually, I think on the jp board the cash win was £4- bells I think on feature entry. I'll take note of that Matt cheers.
Cheers s4ooter, I was thinking collecting small wins may have been the way to go- think I'll just ignore these from now on though.
