    Default reel setups

Hi all. Can anyone please pm me or post here how 'reel setups' are done?. I.E. If im on the board & could pick nearest win, & i had some nudges spare. Would i have to bring 2 or 3 identical fruits down to 'above the win-line' or 'onto the win-line' to get that nearest win?. Hope someone understands me! Lol

You have to get it so it will be the nearest win. You can see through the reel bands on most machines if you check.

    Pretty self explanitory though mate

You are running along the right lines. Nearest win will be the nearest 3 matching symbols, it doesn't matter if some are already on the winline, it will still count. Be careful though, some machines will block higher wins by not allowing enough nudges for you to get the correct setup, and other machines it is possible to 'steal' a high value win on step to nearest by using nudges, extra lives and bonuses along with using the hi/lo reel at the right time. Step to nearest win doesn't generally allow fruits below the line to be stepped up and count as a win, but some machines have a 'super' version, mainly Barcrests which if activated on super, will allow the fruits below the reels to be used.
If you have anymore questions regarding the basics, they are best answered in the 'newbie' forums.
