Played a strange one last night...I *think* it was just called "Play To Win"
It was a CG display card based game. Twenty individual reel games which just had 10,J,Q,K,A on them. 3 10's paid 50p, 3 J's paid £1, 3 Q's paid £2, 3 K's paid £5 and 3 A's paid £25.
You had the choice of selecting how many reel games you wanted to play,
10p per spin so on max stake it was £2 a spin.
I did ok on it, a flurry of odd wins here and there, just the one set of AAA for £25 plus a 10's win for 50p making my total for that game £25.50 win, unusual and quite novel to see. It *seemed* like a S16 but there was no random outcome sticker I could see, and it was sited in a pub. I can't see how it could ever pay all the Aces everywhere for the £500, unless that's now legal in pubs?

Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
Don't know the machine but I would imagine that in theory it can pay the £25 on every line - because each line is being played as an individual game, therefore, you are not winning more than the £25 maximum in one single game?
Could be wrong, but that sounds to me how they would get round it.
Yeah, the single game element allows more than £25 to be won, but I really meant whether these types of games are allowed in pubs yet?Originally Posted by rocket123zxc

oh sorry.
Don't see why not!!
Kidgloves – The machine you have played is one of the new kind of “sequential AWP” style games. From a legal point of view it is just a standard AWP section 34 machine and as such can be sited in pubs or anywhere else that a standard AWP can.
Basically, you’re just playing up to 20 separate “machines” on one screen - one after the other with the total prize being paid at the end. Notice how your winnings are paid into a separate win meter – a legal requirement on AWP’s - section 16 machines just pay your winnings straight back into the credit meter.
Also the fact that it is classed as an AWP means that it does not have to be random….!
Called Rapid something or other I had a go the other day there is a similar Pink Panther themed one out called break the bank. Wasn't too impressed to be honest.
You have to have a licence though or pay a fee for the amount of machine you site. I reckon there is a loop hole somewhere in there and no doubt someone will eventually complain
you know the (old) gaming board rules were only guidelines?
All the percentages and max payouts just seemed like maximums and set in law but you could deviate from them.
Not sure how much backing the new gaming laws have from the government
Why has it come to this?
