More and more players as of late are tampering with the machine (in the eyes of the landlord) I am already barred from a few places, but do any of you law/law enforcment type know if I am committing an arrestable offence?![]()
I see lots of signs on pub doors suggesting "The landlord has right to refuse service and does not have to give a reason" meaning it gives them a loophole to actually refuse you cos you are always winning the money all the regulars (ie Brainless Provincial Yokels) who have lost all their wages in the machine again!
Its legal but you have to be 18 to enter

No law against keying, its completely legit. Why is it legit? Because its 'read-only' anyway, so you cant modify anything.Originally Posted by jeffvickers
Im sure it says somewhere in that post alex did with the new rules and regulations and gamblers rights act thing, that keying is acceptable for you to know the situation of a machine?
You will get barred at the managers discretion, nothing you can do if he does that, but its not an arrestable offence.

any other views???
