The profile on this is a refreshing break to your Shark Raving Mad clones, granted it's of the same ilk but it seems a lot more forgiving.
I know it's been discussed before, but I just don't understand what Barcrest are playing at with the fairly rapid progressive profile, any half buzzing machine is up to red streak easily before you've put loads in and failing that you can nick the JP before that just as easily.
Maybe Barcrest are just stringing us a carrot with the latest craze of releasing a half decent machine then 3-6 months down the line updating it to "You're going to get sod all profit out of me with that kind of forcing laddie". I just can't see it lasting.
I played one today, backing from the off in a quiet country pub. Good start I thought, it took £19 to get the Red Streak which did £42. Two boards later 9 reel blasts for the JP. It then arses about with ok ish boards but nowt decent from the top, enough to keep you playing.
About £20 back in and it's "Should've walked" time, the boards aren't progressing that great. I collect £8 repeater which repeats 2 times. Two more boards dead then an IM.
You just can't give these up for dead like others. If this was a Shark Raving I'd be expecting a flat £25 top feature considering what I had before, but no this is a Wobbler and it does a £38.
Very nice. I like the profile a lot, but how long will it last until it get's the "fook off" chip a la Space Invaders ?

Know what you mean played one the other day great starting signs. £8 in I got red series for £42. Thought i might aswell carry on as I could probably get another soon. £20 in not much happening then I was at the green level with one red shot got skill stop and thought what the heck i'll land on it. Was expecting the £10 rpt or tutti Frutti but no red series for another £42.

I went to Newquay at the Weekend and trust me when I say go because no one there seems to know how to play. BFU £2 in for a top feature that went to £55 couple of boards later I built the cashpot up to £19. Found a High Flyer that gave Golden Hold JP on the 2nd board. Went to the Walk about and took £95 out of the DNA which was showing great signs from the off. There was some dodgyoffering next to it possibly a BFG but not sure. Anyway decided to stay clear only to see some blokes stick a couple of quid in and got Mega Streak which went for £50

This is the most streak crazy machine I've ever come across. It does £100 plus on a regular basis for me.

Although3 of them are turned off in my local playing area though, so maybe a chip is already out lol?!

Play it out for red series is showing good signs (4 or 5 bonus nudges, shuffeling in good numbers, red shots on board, trail boosts from mysterys and just generally keeping you on the board for a while)

Generally it is a good machine but i hit a bit of a suck on one recently, it turned out it had just streaked for £85 (no key with me), it was looking half decent from the start and i got drawn into recycling for some sort of a streak, i was at it a good few hours until a red series + IM came along. I was only down £30 or something overall which considering the length of time i was playing was very good.

Nothing special anyway, just a way to basically guarentee it streaks.

Its not to do with the plugging method on IM, where you plug the IM 3 - 5 times?

I don't know if I'm doing a method without realising lol but it seems to streak a lot for me.

I like to think I touch it up the right way
