    Default PAR'ing vamps

    Well just a quick ?

How much profit on average is to be expected if the machine is buzzing?

I found one of these a few days ago and have never 'done' one before until now!

Problem is ive found it hard to tell when to stop, when you think its dead setup-ing it will occasionaly throw in a good board here and there that is until it goes and grabs all its money back

In the last week doing it every 2 days i have done it its been buzzing from the start and ive made around £150 from it overall, Its in a pub location and gets a moderate amount of play. Another thing i found is that the top right 1 bonus nudge square comes in handy!

    Thanks

Depends what you mean by buzzing

If it's not PAR'ing then kill it dead by forcing a JP off a steal or taking a decent streak, then I used to look for a couple of PAR wins, not forgetting the value of triple bar and melon wins above the win line if no JP set ups are on... Any more than a few and it will start too get too expensive IMHO....

If it is PAR'ing then just try and keep on top by JP'ing it before it gets too happy, easy money if it's local!!!!

mate if its PARing then your lucky full stop! ie not chipped!
never found one myself, if its local and your doing it every 2 day, make yourself a healthy profit aim, ie £50 every time, then kill it off, ie £3 win
    fcking chavs!

*Awaiting post describing 2 hour nightmare on said machine*

lol seriously, i have one and sometimes it gets so annoying. I once found it properly buzzed and got a VIU (35) + JP off about 20 quid. Very nice 40 profit, now for a couple of PARs to make it a very very nice profit. Fckin thing took the piss. Ended up about 10 up...

But mostly its nice for 25 - 50 profit. I find i make on it most of the time by PARing it first board for 20 profit.

The worst is when its hitting cherries but not buzzed either.

It can also be PARing but off its face...red boost on entry etc.

Should be good for regular money, just get off it if youve made 50 profit on it or if you get a PAR cheap. Say you kill it and get one immediately, then check 1 more board, if it looks shit take 2 quid.

Generaly look for 2 i guess depending on how much you're into it for.

cheers guys, thats basically what ive been looking for.

I know what you mean by the 2 hour nightmare been there once so far but ended up on top overall.

Buzzed as in 2 mega streaks and a jackpot steal of 30. £50 profit is not to be sniffed at anyway, it should hopefully be off its tits tomorrow anyway after a hardcore losing session from the punters .

Surely it is best to maximise the value of each board if its dead, which means taking that £1.20 or nearest win £3 isnt such a bad idea if you know its going to lose anyway? Theres no point in not doing so as it needs to be dead normally for the 'trick' to work anyway??

If its buzzing (and I mean really buzzing) it can take up to 5 pots to get it ready for PAR, but then you should realise thats its based on credits - not money out.

I found one on my journey to brum, just killed the machine by forcing for JP then taking £10 and I usually aim for 2 PARs, its really easy to get sucked in.

Yeah if its doing the really shite setups where you need a ton of nudges then take something. PAR normal can be good for 4 quid. Don't be afraid to take second feature on hot also. Thats 4 quid. It will 99% of the time be an 8 to question mark anyway so just use the nudges to make it red. Saying that, once im there and the 2 nudges can make it red, i press start and hope for the 9 lol.
