was on this machine today and was about 15 quid in and had only been on the board once so thought i'll put one more pound in and i ended up on the board. I got £10 on the cash shots and the features hi/lo reel was on 1 so thought id use it instead of taking the £10 and the red mega streak gets landed on, so i take that and then it gave £42. Its the first time ive had a mega streak on a machine so is £42 good or should it be more for a mega streak?

Sounds like you just hit the random IM it can give when you are usually forcing for top anyway.
That's a slightly above average amount for Mega Streak when it's not doing the natural streak which can go for £75.

yep agree with KidGloves,

Played one the other day, it gave me the hidden IM before any SSS's offered
Mega streak 38 quid or something
next board 1st gamble gave normal mega for 25 (i was v. shocked tbh), then a few small wins for afters.

my exp with these is if it flings the hidden IM at you, it is worth milking the next few features until its truly dead, and of course checking that 4bonus to see if your luck is in, or if you fecked it!

I always thought that after the Mega Streak you had to get sss before hitting the feature off the trail or else it killed it off. Many times I've hit the feature off a win before getting the bonus and the next bonus has awarded sss anyway, even like 2 or 3 boards then the bonus still awards it.
So do you reckon the hidden IM is 'free' anyway or not ? I treat it like a normal bought and paid for Mega, i.e if doing the sss method and the hidden IM comes before sss is awarded for the first time then I'll just play the next few boards to take the value out of the features rather than continue with the method. Thoughts ?

same thoughts as yourself.. I did get stuck on the board and was waiting to get killed to get a bonus to see if there was value in playing on, or get an indicator of value from cash offering on the board.

not sure if the hidden Im is free.. most of my profit has been yielded from large mega streaks in the past, combined with the old sss.
