    I guess its pretty clear that it doesnt really make a difference if you put notes or coins in a machine. My point here is

    When looking to force a machine many players will say that it needs to be backing, how can this be the case? What if the guy who has just come off has just slammed £80 in notes in? The hopper may still be down eg £80 but if he had been playing with coins the hopper will be full.

    I`m interested to see what peoples views on this are?

    That is why you can't play it just by the hopper balance

    Most players prefer coins over notes due to notes jamming.
    Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
