N E way this aint a normal post saying can n e one tell me the free win and all that shit. I just wanted to say how UNIMPRESSED i am with the chipped one, ive heard alot about them but its the first time ive encountered themand it took me 50 from full (on a non refill day) to force a 40 pound MS with no afters. Very different from the ones ive had in my area where i was ALWAYS getting megastreak off a maximum of 15 quid.
Whats all your opinions on how (in my eyes) one of the easiest and most enjoyably machines can be turned into this pile of shit?
Well hold on. When u say chipped do u mean the new programme where u can't gamble on a question mark? If so i can advise u but i'm not sure when u only say "chipped".
Reply and i'll help u out.
Yeah thats escatly what i mean, the first thing you hit on a question mark it makes you accept it such ad hi-lo continue, collect, yes no continue etc
think this is about the 3rd maybe 4th program on this machine, turned into a pile a crap, it can force u to collect a big win when u are going for the streak, acting like a safe cash! makes the profit margin a lot shitter!!!
i hate this program making a really good machine which takes a little skill to get the top quicker, to a horrid machine, cant see anyone getting anymore mega streaks of £15 mate, think we just gonna have to wait for the next gen of barcrest![]()
Well this is what i posted on another website and this should help u:
These are much harder to force. By new programme I mean that u can't gamble on a question mark i.e. so it can force a collect prize on u.
For those of u that have one of these this advice should be pretty useful (obviously the machine has to be playing well - with good signs etc)
I have 2 of them. One is still forceable and only ever forces a small cash amount on me or a low feature. It can take a bit longer to force but is ok. Last time I made a clear £26 on it.
The other one has been bang full 3 times after a weekend (and definitely is re-filled on a Thursday - I know the landlord) and it has been shit every single time. Forcing £10 wins on me and really high features. Ended up losing about £5 to £10 each time I played it because the big wins have really set the machine back.
So what I'd say would be that if u have one it will probably act like one of the above and if it's the second one I'd leave it. I don't think I'll be forcing mine again.
2 more things:
- Searchlight is superhold and u can hold no win so that's good.
- Also because they don't pay out big wins as much due to the collect prize these machines (in my experience) tend to go for bigger streaks. This was still the case in the second machine I played just that it cost too much to get it. About £45 / £50 each time for a streak of around £40.
Hope this helps.
There won't be a next generation. The good old days will not return, Barcrest and the others manufacturers have wised up to the professional player.Originally Posted by gavinuk69
