Bowling Alley Rip Offs
How is it legal that bowling alleys can have 25p play machines in the under 18s section of an arcade - they are 5 quid jp but surely thats just ripping the little chavs off (don't get me wrong they deserve it). What is the law regarding max stake for under 18s?

Dont think it matters what credit amount is? It is the JP amount that determines if it is in the under 18 section or not.
Thing is on them 25p a play £5 JP they progress quite quickly and it doesn't usually take much to force out a £5. Not really worth it to be honest
But I would rather play a 25p play £5 JP to a 10/5p play one
Actually they both determine the where the machine is sited. Basicly like anfield road, they are illegal and are braking the law.
There is a large bowling alley near me and they have the same problem.
They have a Fat Boy Spin, Nuns N Roses and a Round the bend outside the bar area which is over 18s only and they are £25!
another bowling alley near me has 3 machines which are £5 25p. they are located in a special area away from the actual amusement area. They have a special sign near them. They get switched off in a under 18 is playing them. Also they do not have any £5 10p machines. They do have 2 £25 machines in the bar.
