does anyone still actually believe they can make a profit on contemporary awp's.if you do you are seriously delusional... or just stupid.
they are fcucking great though aren't they?
personally i love the flashing bstards.
I admit that i have set my sights far lower in terms of profit in recent years, but I could never imagine being in a pub and not having a couple of quid on the 'old joanna'!

Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
I do. No where near what it used to be, but old habits die hard.
If i was making a loss on a monthly basis i would call it a day.
Fortunately, there is much easier profits on sports betting and you don't have to stand around in shit hole places forcing out machines, or certain features for an hour plus. The anti-social aspect never helped![]()
Emptiers arrive quicker and are rechipped quicker nowadays...
The quality of machines is becoming poor to say the least. Fair enough, you must put more work / research into machines with the increased competition. To socialise and not worry about carrying £80.00+ in coins is a very good thing.
Still play Bedazzled / Top Gear / Cliffhanger / Shark Raving Mad now and again.
Removing skill out of AWP's fcked it.
For me, a combination of things have led to the demise of the AWP market,
The skill in machines is now largely just "Psuedo skill..." the days of JPM's like Arcadia are long goneAnd usually any JP features will be turned down in persuit of a large top feature payout due to the machine going batshit to offer the JP capable feature in the first place.(Apart from the obvious exceptions.).
Also stated before, there's much easier safer and more fun ways of making money with gambling, like online poker for example.
My brother makes somewhere in the region of 40k a year playing online, and also like me he writes gambling articles and edits his own mag, so he's pretty much made. Also you don't have to be a pro to make decent cash, i'd say a competent poker player makes more cash than a fruit machine player of the same standard(anoyne agree?).
Also with the internet, there's a lot more talk about machines, and tricks are spread about with ease and chipped out quicker, prime example being the Lucky Strike fiasco, Would that have happened 5 years ago??
And now with the Section 16/21 machines taking over, and the manufacturers wanting to go to a £35 JP to increase cashbox takings, i can only see it going one way![]()
man i couldnt agree more, machines now adays have hardly any skill at all!
shark raving and clones do have a skill aspect in them as to what to take and how to get the jp quickly but most machines now are a case of force force force and hope that the streak is bigger than what u put in![]()
i prefer to spend a tenner on football accumulators on a sat then spend ages piling money into a fruty!!!
1) for a tenner u can do multiple bets 5 fold 6 folds ect
2) u dont actually have to do anything more than walk to your bookies and put on the bet/bets
3) u can sit on your arse while at work and watch your teams play
4) payout can be amazing! i usually pick 6 teams, do £1 acc and £1 5 folds thats £7, 5 teams win im looking at around £30 quid, all win its about £200
not bad, although only ever happend once lol![]()
