Slots Design Contest - $500 Prize

Slot machine games are cool, especially themed slot machine games. Being a fan of slot machines, I would have that opinion.

So I've decided to host a slot machine game design contest. Whoever sends me the best idea for a slot machine game, complete with a description of the theme, the symbols, and the rules, will win a cool $500. I'll send the cash via Paypal or NETeller, whichever the winner prefers.

Here are the guidelines and contest rules:

* By participating in the contest, you're giving this website the right to publish your idea on this website, whether you win or not.
* Your idea for a slot machine game should be submitted using no more than 500 words.
* You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the contest.
* You'll retain the option to try to sell your idea to a gaming company. You are not giving up the copyright on your intellectual property by participating in this contest; you're simply granting this website a license to use your idea on this site IF I like it.
* The slot machine game idea cannot infringe on someone else's intellectual property or trademarks. (So no ideas about licensing the Batman or Star Wars brand names, please.)
* I do not guarantee I'll publish anyone's idea here.
* I'm the sole judge of the winning idea.

am sure anyone savvy in flash, powerpoint, msPaint or other could whack something together.. even crummy old VB (I can see mike from f*chat entering this perhaps?)

am not gonna bother, but would be interested in seeing some designs - perhaps the more-than-generous admins might sponsor a similar contest here - perhaps for designing a gambling.co.uk themed online-slot machine?

anyway if anyone enters, why not post some screenshots on the end of this thread?

Anyone thinking of entering should remember that its a US based competition, and so any UK based theme may not go down too well

funnily enough i cant recall ever seeing a slot machine like the awp's we got anywhere in america, virtually every machine they have is like an s16 or a bar-x-o, so if you enter you'd probably be better off designing an s16 type game with a really good feature
