Hi Guys,
A long time lurker and occasional fruity player here.
Thought I'd register and try and get involved with the conversation… ….
I hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd start with the story of my lunchbreak today, I had to go to the bank to sort out some money and, with £50.00 in my pocket, I ventured to 'Casino Slots' where by I kicked off with 'Flash The Cash' - after £20.00 and absolutely nothing whatsoever, I thought about moving on, but, with the cash pot (won by getting three little pigs on the win-line) flashing at £25.00 I thought I'd chance my arm with another tenner.
With what was my twenty-first pound, (the first after I considered walking) I get the 'treble win-streak' and take it for £52.00, followed by, two quid later, a twenty five pound cash pot and a two-quid number win.
But it gets better! The area this arcade is in, isn't the best and the machines get a huge amount of play, all day, every day, so I thought I'd chance my arm on 'Monopoly' (the one that's linked to 2 other machines and with the 2nd game played on the large board that is above all 3 machines).
A tenner in that, and I'm another £50.00 up.
But that's not all!!!
I've cashed in at this point, as I say, I don't play them all the time (I can't afford to - I'll only gamble with money I can afford to lose) but, on the way out, they've got one of those 2p coin-push machines, so, with about 10p's worth of change that I already had in my pocket, I stuck that in - expecting to lose - and I won a really crappy toy-car, in addition to about 30p (which I promptly lost).
No bad at all!
Although, as an arcade, very few of the machines are the ones with 'features' they are mostly 3 reels with either X - 0 - X or just a case of 'get the numbers for nudges/cash' - nearly all of them have an 'auto-play' option, which, once pressed, takes ALL the fun out of playing.
Any advice of if these machines are worth a punt on a more regular basis (rather than just hoping you get them in time for a streak), normally, I tend to play when I'm in the pub/airport/holiday resort type, but, as they don't afford the same playing experience - or indeed, what appears to be any element of skill - I'm not sure they are worth pursuing, it seems more luck any anything with these.
Finally, the arcade is question, seems a bit cagey as to the % pay-out, ALL of the machines have the number slightly obscured, it looks like between 86 and 88%, but it's impossible to tell, is this legal?
Thanks for reading

I would imagine the percentage is way below what it says on the glass, more likely to be 70% on most, dunno if its legal, although your best bet is to find a few machines that generally give a decent profit on regular occasions and stick with emOriginally Posted by Bristol
