    Default Extreme: Boiling Point

    Is that what it's called?
The one with the superboard in the middle that moves into the centre, and it has nudge shuffles.
What's the deal here? I tried a normal force and hi/lo'd those ladies heads for the top feature, and it gave £25, older extremes used to do £50's quite easily. Does this have an IM/streak or just push for top feature and hope ?

    Default Hmmm

Remembering old Extremes (Note Runner, JatB etc), getting the necessary icons lit up was *always* good for a £50, whereas having forced this three times I've only ever got £25 max from the icons being lit.

I wonder whether the 'Boiling Hot' feature in the very middle of the super trail would be more profitable.

A curious one, to say the least!

Boiling point in the middle is the top feature aswell! just a different way of getting there. I think with the chip its *impossible* for the top feature to go over £25.

Always play for jackpot, normally just relentlessy hi-lo on nudges until its there, it will autonudge when it is. This can go £75s if the machine is up for it.

Chances are you'll die on the hi-lo on nudges (literally gamble on every number) but it the quickest/most efficient way to force it. If the machine is gonna pay out JP, it will let you gamble all the way, if not it wont, and thats just the quickest way of finding out.

Well on NYE this year I forced this as it was full and offering £8.00 cash from the off.

Played through £10 and then it offered £15 so carried on and had the 3 taps and then got an 11+bonus which gave no lose so span on and it gave another 11 landing on a tap so I went higher then lower gaining the 3 taps on red.

This activated the IM through the logo flashing red, so I played for the boiling streak but it gave no super spins so in the end it gave cash to JP.

No repeat and after a further £10 in I got a £10 feature then a few £4-£5 features.

I must say the older extremes like the Double Dragon are a hell of alot better, I mean if you catch this full and buzzing you are in a profit almost every time.

I am yet to see the Double Dragon feature go less than £50 yet and have seen a £75 a few times, then the afters are great as boards come so quick and offer the 'Reflex' and 'Rise & fall' features on the after and they give anything from £2-£10 depending on super or normal.

Also there is no 'multi - add' start on round the bend as I remember gettin mixed sevens on Double Dragon or just a multi - add start on the JP & Beanstreak and it could start off on JP or top feautre lol.

Just shows how crap theese machines are becoming

There are ways of gettting the JP before it is ready but this will just cause it to pay the £25 and then go dead. Probably some mad amounts of knock backs required for the top feature to go more then £25.

The JPR on this does repeat quite well. Best run I have had was about £75 I forced for the top feature then used nudge shuffle method to get JP which repeated.

If it is starting the cash amount on £2.40 or above from the off without the cash add bonus then it could be in a good mood. Dont be fooled into thinking if it is letting you onto the super board it is playing well. It can do this quite often but offer you nothing worth taking. If the cash pot increases quickliy and goes past £10 it is worth a force but I usually play for the nudge JP or cash stack JP

People will find the reason 'older extremes' play different is because they were programmed by 'extreme'. New extreme products are programmed by Barcrest and as such play in the same way as barcrest machines. Do not be fooled by the branding.
The same also applies to maygay and impulse - just more brand names.

Programmed by Barcrest? - That is SO wrong mate.

So your trying to say that an 'Extreme - Round the Bend' is to be played like a Barcrest? well Barcrest are the most profitable by forcing as they usually streak more than any other machine or at least with some really good afters.

Round the bend does the complete opposite to this 90% of the time.

I would say its either still programmed by Extreme and there trying to make thereself like the ACE manu or its just BFM in disguise making another piece of shite.

just found a brand new doctors and nurses by extreme, is there any features in the centre worth taking? is it better to force or recycle? how many nudge shuffles do you need before its worth taking? any tricks of note?
