arcade games
seeing as these machines share a common ground i wondered if anybody is into retro arcade games or emulators? any favourite old arcade games you'd love to see make a return? i use mame but cant get hold of a few certain roms, anybody else use it?
personally bubble bobble and pacland are the 2 machines that sucked the 10ps out of my pocket (along with a few others) that i loved the most and i think the first proper arcade game i played was donkey kong although the chinese did have a pong but i was never allowed to play it

Ah these young kids
Pacman, space invaders, kung fu master, mario, paperboy to name a few. Have mame and play these classics sometimes, and I DO OWN THE ROMS HONEST!
Anyone remember gauntlet? Got that on me mobile, used to play it when i was a kid at the local social club while my parents pissed there money on the fruities.
Any time you aggressively play seven deuce off suit, the universe will bend the laws of short term probability in order to re-balance the long term probability abuses by those trashy players who only play premium hands
Track and Field, Pacman, Original Silent score, F1 Racer, turbo outrun.....endless list
track and field and hyper sports were 2 of the most popular games and possibly one of the first games to have cheats/easter eggs/odd stuff in them!
remember the thing you could kill with the javelin? or if you shot the owl at the end of the skeet shoot with the left sight a brown bird flew in and you got 1000 points each time you hit it, the little mole that popped up if you hit the pole vault perfectly and of course the wanking animation the guy made if you messed up one of the jumps and didnt qualify!!
also pac land had a few cheats like getting the hat from behind the fire hydrant, the level skip behind the tree trunk in the forest and the invisible mode behind the tree stump in the forest too
standing still for 2 minutes in gauntlet turned all the walls into exits

Golden axe, Double dragon, Buggy boy, Outrun, Afterburner, NARC, 1942..... all quality. And out course the original Mortal Combat and Street Fighter, i know they`re newer games but still quality arcade games!
I used to love that hyper olympics, i was chuffed when i managed to get my name up on the skeet shooting..also i think i had something like 3rd place overall, hmm those were the days, could have a fun afternoon on a couple of quid..
And if i ran out of money, just call the arcade worker, and tell him, ud put the money, but it did'nt register!, they were so gullible then..lol
Also a couple of well placed thumps on to the 10p falls, reaped good results, i knew exactly where to bang it, i could hit it, hard as hell, and the alarms would never trigger..lol
