Default The demise of the low JP machine

Visited the local arcade for the first time in months yesterday. Won a fair bit in the over 18 section, so decided to knock it on the head and have a play with the 5 quid jp machines.

I was shocked at what was on offer. Every machine seemed a 25 jp altered to become a 5 quid jp.

The game play is shite. simply 1 board for 2 quid in, with a flat JP, followed by a couple of dead boards to make the percentage back to 80%.

I remember the days of cops'n'robbers, pink panthers, crazy fruits, all their is now is crap. Impossible for a 5 quid player to make a profit IMO.

Won't be long before the semi skill AWPs dissapear for good imo

£5 wildfires/IJ3s and pick yer pesos can do streaks of £50+....the former £75 sometimes.

Likewise i've had a £45 streak on a snake rattle and roll before, with JP and 8 repeats. The potential is still there....just harder to hit.

the best way is to milk it for small wins until you see that dead board coming.

Barcrests have got to be the worst of them, Magic Carpet/The SPice is right can take £3 for a board at 10p a go.....

VIU not to bad, Bars r Us hot £5 or £8.

Arabian Nights can take up to 8 quid a board, but then it can give you red 7s off nudges in reel play so it's give and take. Have played a 10p VIU twice, first time it was stone dead giving nothing above a pound, and the second 3 quid in for VIU streak, then mega, then JP off nearest win hot.

I have't much experience with 5 pound JP machines, can they be forced? If so how much do they tend to take before the streak?

When full and not a refill on the IJ3, PYP and clones the streak will come within a week if getting played alot.

I usually tend to find that after the £50+ streak then its about 5 weeks before its worth another force.

The only decent £5JP is the GG, Monopolys, Party Times and the GG clone which is got sand castles on and can take a credit when on feature and kill you but add £5 to the bank.
Its only on loannnnnnn, its only on loaaannnnnn in Athens Grace will bring it back hommmmmmmmeeeee.

monopolys + ggs have a nice streak in them, as do big tops and stripes. NOt sure if the GG method works on them tho lol.

LOTR: The Two Towers is the worst, it can cost upto 20 quid to see a board.
