Section 16 overkill!

I was in Leicester Square last night and while I was waiting to meet some mates I had a quick look in the Crystal Rooms arcade.

I couldn't beleive the number of section 16 machines - on the ground floor alone I counted 25+ machines!! (I didn't have time to go downstairs)

They had a 4 player Monopoly, 3 player Monkey Business, 4 Player Mega Slot, 3 Player Eyes Down plus a load of single player stuff as well.

Is this overkill or what!!

one of my locals is going all over 18, and the owner is relentless buying section16s now like a chav purchases jewellery.

He always goes on about how he's the first person to get the machines in the area, bit of a show of really.

I have heard on the grape vine though that they may bring in a law that limits you to the amount you are allowed. Just like the bookies and the FOBT's

Thing is look at it like this if you owned an arcade what would you prefer. Something that can make over £1000 a day easily or a standard £25 JP AWP that may if you are lucky take £100 in the cash box a day??

This is what has unfortunatly taken the "Amusement" out of today's arcades.
