Question regarding red machines / rocket money

Bit of a what if scenario here, and it will probably never occur again, but anyone knows what would happen here?

Playing Rocket money by red machines, got offered holds, which consisted of RedBar, another fruit, Redbar

I held Redbars, spun in nothing, got offered holds again, spun in a pear with a 4. This gave me a bonus of spinoff (red's equivalent of respin), at which i wasn't expecting, and it spun in crap (spinoff is fast btw)

Anyways, my questions are:

Do red's have 3 holds, spin in win?
If i'd have held the redbars on spinoff, would the third bar have dropped in?

Yes the reds do have 3 holds and spins in, not sure if this works if you get respin and hold them on the bonus.

And although it is quick, i noticed when you get a bonus and get respin if you hold the button down when you hit for the bonus nothing starts till you take your finger off again.

I've had 2 machines 'NOT' do the 3 hold trick to me?

Three time hold on certain reds resulted in you having to skillstop the reel to match the 3rd symbol.

So, I think it depends on the actual machine, and not just generalised by the manu.

cannot say ive ever had a skill stop reel on a red ever ever ever it just doesnt happen its a 3 way hilo, bellfruit speciality and the like your more likely to get the nudge skill on a red than the 3 holds or even let them spin?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????

From my experience Reds skill stop 3rd hold seems to only be on the 5winline machines ie Jackpot Genie, Sub Zero etc, 3rd hold and spin the win work on Legal Tender & Top Giza (probably clones as well but haven't seen it yet)

aftershock is a skillstop on the 3rd symbol. In saying that, its so bloody rare to get something to hold three times its worthless.

uhm, the 2 machines that didn't do it for me were both SKR's. Held a 3rd time for no win spin in, or let em spin (even if its just a gimmick from BC)

I remember a SKR we had in the local and 3 time holds would do nothing for some reason quite crap really as I remember getting big 3 time holds on Lock 'N' Load.

I have not seen a Red yet that gives you the 3 time hold skill stop to the fruit.

Shittin it now lol have driving test at 9am tommorow, so getting a good night sleep starting now

An interesting question, I don't think a respin on a red counts as a hold, QPS yes, but not on a Red. So in answer to your question, the reds would have not come in. Another good point made - has anyone noticed that respins are getting faster, unless you hold start down?!?!?
