Default knowing when a streak is over?

    hiya guys.
i was thinking about forcing a machine in the pub the other day and was just chatting to my dad about when the streak is actually over and how you would know?obviously a sign would be that offering you shit board(s) but isnt it possible for a machine to do that and then suddenly offer an im board a little after the shit 1's or not?
    any info would be appreciated.

    p.s.
whats the highest amount any of you have had off a streak and on what manufacturer?because i belive barcrest are quite good?

    cheers guys

Barcrest are good for frequent and moderate streaks, bellfruit rarely streak but when they do you will know about it, mazooma have streak potential but mainly only on gbc+clones, depends on which machines. I dont have much experience with qps+ other manu's. My experience with globals/empires/impulses is limited, but FMF etc. dont streak, but pay out in lump sums at irregular times.

Its whether or not your prepared to push the machine for a streak, a VIU for example can show signs by offering streak on first quid, but then take another £20 to get streak again, then take another £45-80 for VIU streak to show.

Depends on machine/manu, search through the forums on machine you have near you and try your best. And if you are gonna force a machine for a streak, i would recommend taking no less than £100 with you.

Well every machine you have listed there are absolutly terrible and I would not recommend forcing one of those, Mega Zone can take 50 from offering 10quid and then generally goes dead. Top Giza does have one of those mental Red streaks in there but if forcing from dead can cost upto 100+ then go dead.
Around the board in 40 days is good to collect a quick repeat chance off the super board like 5 quid as it often repeats to 15etc.
Docters and Nurses I am not sure about but from what i remember its a bit like Round the Bend.

Barcrests have always being the best to force as signs are obvious they streak alot more than Reds and BFM etc.

I would just only force if you know they have had alot of money.

And for knowing when the streak is over it can be any time as you may force a Big Cheese get JP and then next board will be on the 2quid block then the next board can IM and repeat.
So its good to get 2 boards after a JP
Its only on loannnnnnn, its only on loaaannnnnn in Athens Grace will bring it back hommmmmmmmeeeee.

Been lurking for a while, sorry

    This is a good question.

I was playing a QPS Red Dragon on Sunday, and wasn't planning to force it, just to increase my float a little as I only had 9 pound coins.

Was £10 up but had had a few beers and wasn't very disciplined and proceeded to loose my float playing for the next board. So I ended up forcing the machine with some notes. The machine took £40 and was very progressive up until the top feature which was Win series worth £37.

The next board was Jackpot, and the next couple of boards were all Superboards offering a tenner or more before landing on a hazard, at which point I collected. The next board came £10 later and was another superboard it offered about £8 and I gambled on a hazard and lost. At this point I stopped playing the machine thinking the streak over and had taken roughly £70 within £5 worth of credits since the win series but put back in £10 for the loosing board.

Then someone else went on the machine and took another Superboard and £8 from £1.

Firstly, I suppose I was lucky that the machine was so close to streaking, I should have really picked up on that the first couple of boards at the very beginning and forced from then rather than collecting little amounts here and there. That was bad on my part.

But to second the question, how do you tell when a streak is over?

Well, being a QPS you can actually trigger a streak from an initial top feature or Jackpot quite commonly. The first top feature or Jackpot can be a git to get, but in comparison to most antiforce profiles these days it's not actually as harsh an investment as it seemed say 3-5 years ago.
I think you had naturally hit the end of the streak prior to the £10 for a board.
The mistake you made was not collecting that final superboard for £8 AND walking. The value for that feature would still have been in the machine and would most likely have come back on the next couple of boards. I'd always leave after a long cash take between boards and the value of the board only being £2-3.

It is hard to tell and there is no real answer- machines like AFU go dead for a while then suddnely give another jp board out of the blue. I always judge it on how much I'm up by- if a lot, then I take what I've got and let someone else risk money seeing if the machine is still streaking.

Played a Nuns and Roses not so long ago and had taken £92 out of it, jp and £67 mega streak- left it thinking that was it then some guy goes on and gets a £18 super streak lol off about £3!

Usually though, people waste good profit by carrying on for one more board, then one more board, then one more board, etc...

There is not really a way to tell if the streak is over, all as i do is see how long it takes to get the board and get 2 boards see how they are playing if good then there is a chance.

On most machines its simple to tell like on Austin Powers next board comes within 4quid and offers a feature on first go depending on what it is is a good way, also the gamble will goet upto 6pound before exchanging in.

Bling King Crazy can give crazy reels and the next board will give a shot and can hit JP first shot.

But on a IJ3 I forced from 10pound light and took 40 to get a bank raid which was JP then the next credit spun in 3 minis on the winline So thought IM but no it offered 10pound and super series to which I just took super series as I could tell it wasnt going to be a JP board.

Just use your head its rather simple really

I've *NEVER* had/seen a Mega Streak go over £40. Just plain unlucky, I've never seen one of these streak for multiple mega's or a really big one.

neither did i until a few days ago. I was playing a JJC and was collecting fast cash which i was constantly hitting about £4 on, it was coming back every board until it gave IM for the £75 streak and a few fast cash afters. Was around £70-£80 up nice when it happens but rare
