Where do old machines re-appear from?

Admittedly, i live in "backward" Norfolk, but just recently i've had a spate of machines 2-3 yrs old re-appear.

In my local pub, which belongs to a small chain, theres been an original LOTR and a supercharged appear (both are in top condition)

In my local showboat (which has few awp's) there's now been placed a SRM, Italian Job 1, Jackpoteers, and a CBW.

Anyone have any thoughts on why these are re-appearing?

Maybe its because people are stopping to play theen ew machines like BFM are producing such as Ant 'n' Decs take-away POTP as they will always leave you skint.

And people play the machines like CBW IJ1 SC alot more due to the fact that streaks appear alot of the time and can be nice for a quick profit for putting a few ££ in.

As me and alot more people I know seem to give the recent BFMs a miss as they are just a case of a guarenteed lose.

We have just had 4 new machines in our pub only 1 is a good earner, YDD, Hill Billionare - horrible, King Ker Ching-Cant seem to find thhe streak in this Maygay piece of shite and BFMs Bullseye - another crap new BFM.

I do think the YDD has being chipped against easy force as the YDD on 70% in our other pub does nicely to a straight force for MD yet the 74% new one which has arrived is horrible and offered £7 and full and took £100+ to get a £42 DM with £10 afters

I'm sure my local isn't concerned about us having a crap fruity to play

I'm just wandering if they have them stored, or if manufacturers still make old machines?

Yeah maybe your right they may have them stored for further use? or maybe they are renting them for a lower price so are taking the deal up? There is alot of reasons they could be bringing the old machines back.

Are they new machines or are they old and just being used again?

Well we've just had a machine dating back to 2001 placed in the local pub- Mazooma's bank roll. Although no one replied to my thread so I take it nothing was on this

Anfield, I'm sure you're right about the recent Barcrest efforts- something seems to have been done to stop the easy force, I've found it on BFU more than anything.

BTW John, is the Lord of the Rings unchipped!?

Yeah I seem to find now that the YDD seems to kill on numbers alot more, where when I first started playing the machine say I was on Bulls Hit on a number 10 I would go lower and it would 9/10 win.

Now I was on buls hit with a extra life on a 9 so went lower went to a 10 lower again to an 11

, the machine now seems to offer big wins from like £10+ but not progress enough to give the MD feature

The Supercharged is chipped, as for as the lotr, i've never successfully applied the trick on an unchipped machine. I've used the method found in other threads on here, but nothing seems to happen so i'm guessing its chipped.

The pub is ideal for fruities giving that its:

1 - No chavs / its a local pub in an affluent area.
2 - The fruities are hidden away and so non-locals are unlikely to find them
3 - Always have decent machines

I was wondering this - in the last month I have had an unchipped LS and a P1 VIU turn up in what appear to be brand spanking new condition horizon cabs!!!

Finding them Unchipped in new cabinet I suppose is not unlikely, as they may have being damaged when moving so have just paid to have a new cabinet appleied to them?
