Angry % payout problem and specific advice

Hi there! I have moderate experience with fruit machines. My addicion varies over time, often with long gaps. I recently have been playing again and have, on two occasions, lost quite badly. The last time I put in about £65 and got very little out. It did not even give me the opportunity to get anything out. On the machine it stated an 80% payout but I'm 95% sure this was bollocks. The machine was in a dodgy gaming establishment in Whitechapel (very suspect!) I asked the proprioter about it and she said "I don't do percentages".

I occasionally put quite large sums in and usually get money back or a little up. I have never seen a machine so consistently sponge money with no return. Is it possible that this machine was empty, or is is possible it was rigged? Is there any way to find out?

The machine was a gold digger (bellfruits). The place was Globe liesure on Whitechapel high street.

PS. If you think I should give up gaming for ever please let me know. Also, if you know where I was get some tips to stop me loosing all my money, please let me know too. I am by no means thick, but I do have a very addictive personality.

    Thank you for your comments

Didn't there used to be something on turbo cash feature with this machine for £15 wins?

My advice would be with BFM do not force only for jp or top feature (blocks jp for ages even if ready to pay out)- you should have tried to recoup some of that £65 by collecting smaller wins mate- prob would have got a bank of £50 back.

Its not really unusual to get offered hardly anything on a Gold Digger, this machine can be a great machine if caught on the right time can give upto £100+ streaks but like alot of Bell Fruits can take a £100 very easily.

That machine would have just forced an IM board on you very soon if you kept playing on.

But I would guess it would'nt have being rigged or empty just caught at the wrong time
Its only on loannnnnnn, its only on loaaannnnnn in Athens Grace will bring it back hommmmmmmmeeeee.
