That would depend on how they state the word 'streak', of course as we know it wouldn't be a 'streak' purposly put in there because its random (well supposed to be), could just be a way of someone saying they won lump sums in a certain amount of time.
As for Ben, of course there is a mech controlling the machine the thing is how do we prove whether they are indeed random or not?
Im sure this has been looked into deeply somewhere by someone in the world, and obviously a coder for the machines would know what the crack is, I just dont see how they can rely on total randomness without looking at the liability of it causing problems.

Agree that these events are NOT random, same as the roulette machines. The only random aspect is when you as an individual take part in the cycle. Walk up to the machine with coin at the ready, drop the coin and while chasing it over the sticky carpet a sweet old granny drops a coin down chute. £20 in she has £4 in bank, stops playing, collects money and goes off to the bingo. You get onto machine and within first £1 you drop the JP !!!well done you ! But it isn't random that the JP has came in, it is just random that you were there at the correct time. It is this technicality that allows them to claim random wins as it doesn't offer timescale of time.
The period of time that a programme can run is vast and even when it reaches its end it would simply take a command to restart in reverse from point a to eliminate any obvious patterns being learned by casual players. Some of you might remember old arcade game that had big screen of horse racing that offered differant odds up to £3 token JP. Eventually the cycle was sussed and certain wins were just that, certain. Funnily never moved on in JP value and only now came back in bookies(though note how the virtual races are spaced out and go "off" very quickly before you have chance to remember who is running and at what price).
IF there is a method of cycling your bets on these m/c's then good luck and make the most of it because soon you may find you are £20>£30 into the cycle and it changes, this happening two or three times and your stake is gone - beware.
