Well i went to the arcade across the road!!!

there was a kebab king, a lucky strike, a psycho cash beast (switched off),a monty python and a temple of treasure all in a row......plus loads of the x-o-bar types who's names i cant remember, all of them were 25j/p's and hopefully unchipped!! i had a cpl of hundred quid on me so i figured i could at least try and force 1 of them.....kebab king was the one i'd read most about so figured that was my first target


20 quid later and not collecting anything (trying to get the barcode was my priority) it started backing and had been offering 6-10 every so often so i figured something was due to come out......the only problem with it was some of the lights on the feature board weren't lighting up and a couple of the hold/cancel buttons weren't lighting either but it was easy to work out where i was on the feature by elimination and counting back.....anyway after a few quid more it somehow forced me to take the spicy kebab thing so i took the 25 quid thinking if i'd messed up i was still even and put it down to experience, then a couple of credits later i got the barcode!!! i must admit i was really surprised and in my excitement i managed to press 2-3-1 instead of 3-2-1 although i'd read button bash was almost as good as follow me (although i never got to see if the hold all 3 button trick worked) unfortunately because half the f*%$ing buttons wouldnt light up it was a waste of time!! ended up about even but thinking there could be a future on that machine lol


also stuck 15 in a 5jp pot of gold...got it backing after about 10 and just kept playing for pot of gold..which eventually gave me a fiver...i nearly kicked it lol there was also a 5jp cops and robbers


so after 1 day i quite enjoyed myself and only lost a tenner (which i made back in the bookies lol so i think i might try again soon.....any pointers or advice would be great and much appreciated!

Which version of the £5 JP was it? Is it the one with £3 being the max win in bronze level or the one with max being £1?

The basics are pretty much the same. If you get a cash win and it 'jumps' up more than one place if you win the gamble then its due, same goes if it offers a bonus number. Skill bonus is usually a decent sign and skill shot should go to at least 4 nudges.

If its the £1 max win in bronze level version then listen to the noise it makes during feature entry, if it gives a trumpet type sound then it's IM - If on the other version the pot of gold will continually flash.

One last point, on the £3 bronze level version, it is worth just collecting pretty much everything it offers, i.e. 2 bronze picks and hope to hit £3 or bronze series. Just keep doing this and the IM will come along with some nice wins should it be ready. On the other version just push for pot of gold or jackpot, most I've had from pog is £12.

Your £5 CnR? Is it the one with the big money thing at the top, achieved by surviving so many ? marks? If so, that pays a good streak, you just need to know the signs

you sure your not talking about king kerbab. and normally when it offers the barcode straight after a j.p then it's on the steak and you should only play for the mega kerbab which can go for up to a £100

it was king kebab and i probably should have played on but i put about a fiver back in after i messed up the barcode and nothing was happening so i walked.....also the cops and robbers was 6jp tokens and 3jp cash but i didnt know if it actually payed in tokens or cash

how did u mess the barcode?

u can take follow me barcode and keep all the buttons held for jp guaranteed... 321 if i remember correctly... the p1 used to freeze on a tenner sometimes, but you will be playing a 25jp machine no doubt.

Think he said that he took cash bash by mistake, and as the lights were out on some of the buttons you can see why it was fooked up.

The spicy kebabs you mention was a 'free' IM, it happens once every cycle of a few thousand credits. Yes, you should have played all out for Mega King Kebab, but hey, you'll know for next time eh Shame about the cash bash JP fook up though...could have been a nice little earner.

yeah live and learn!! if anyone has any clues for the x-o-bar machines i'd be grateful as i've never really played those but ppl seemed to be winning from them....also a joker poker machine kept playing some jackpot song every 20 minutes


the normal machines ie kk ls mp and tot seemed like they never get played and yes i messed up the barcode but will know better next time!!

not much to really saty about those kind of machines nothing on them. you normally need to have a big float. you no what they say. you need to spend money to make money.and that defo applys to these machines
