hey there!!
i found this site about a week ago and have took the time to read most of the threads on here and it seems to be full of ppl who have the answers and others wanting free emptiers etc........
i've played fruit machines for around 20 years now beginning with eachway shuffle....(remember that? melons 2 quid jackpot and grapes 1 pound jackpot old jpm machine) right up to the latest.....
i have an arcade across the road which i've never been in simply because i always felt they were a rip off and hardly ever seemed to win in them when i was younger...maybe it was because they were easier to empty if ya knew how in those days but this site seems to have made me inquisitive as to whether you can actually make a living or just an extra 100 a week from machines!
i dont expect any free emptiers but if anybody is prepared to take the time to explain to me about boards im's or anything that may help me learn to work out stuff for myself i'd be grateful......pm me or reply here
Eachway shuffle...I know where one of them is still sited and it still gets played regularly, along with a Viz on token JP, ring a bell £10, 7 Heaven on token JP and a Crown Jester. Their 'up to date' machines are King Kebab and Geronimo.

Have a look in the newbie forum, there is a nice little post explaining the basic terminology.
The answer to your other question is yes it is (still is) possible to make a living from the machines but it takes years of experience, dedication and contacts....
...unfortunatley you are only likely to have a maximum of 1 out of the 3 (dedication) at the moment so I'd concentrate on trying to make £100 a week for the immediate future.

im currently making around £200 a week just from LSOriginally Posted by Prowler
, im not trying to be boastful or nothing (and i aint lying either) but in the last month or so 9/10 times i go out starting with about £20 ive been getting up about £100/£150 each time, £180 last night from only £9
and am actually beginning to find machines boring
strange though, i thought that could never happen even when i was losing 9/10

lol, I can actually sort of understand that. Although my winning days seem to be over- even the really good pubs I had are hard to profit from. Went for my Wednesday run this week and found most of 'my' (lol) machines had been done- don't know who by but it seems pointless playing anymore unless I find out the days they play and it just ain't worth as I can't go and play everyday due to work commitment.Originally Posted by darren222
in my town thats all you can do i make around £100 to £250 a week depending how meny machines i do i could make more but like somebody said it seems to be gettind boring every time that i do my normal run
SHOW ME THE MONEY
It does make me laugh when people say it's 'getting boring' making money off machines. Do you realise just how complacent it sounds ? The gameplay may be repetitive but would you rather flip burgers 500 times a day or make money doing your own hours and getting a change of scene all day long ?
Try doing a week on a factory production line, then go back to the machines and they will be a liitle more appealing.

Still get that buzz when you know you have one on a streak.

Ended up losing wel ove £100 tonight thanks to the arcades 'free beer offer which obviously i had to take advantage offbut on the way i found a very good possible future playing location, 50% of the hi-techs have decent methods
3 unchipped vivids which clearly are not being done as they were all buzzed and jp happy within £20 (obviously taking the £50 from each) and a bonus £25 for my repeating hots on PF. TOT was playing fairly dead but i couldnt resist when it started backing from £20, gradually progressing to the stage of giving 'hold reel 2's' for jp etc :S, that ended in a profit of £5 after £80 in and i had to take a normal TOT as it wasnt for giving the redwhich started the streak totalling £85, risky business at times these TOTs!! lost it all in monopoly/slotto S16's. but then i suppose thats the idea of these 'great' promotions lol theres always tommorrow

Sounds like fruit machine heaven over by you darren!, take your time, and save every penny, because one thing for sure, it won't last forever.
