Default Is the Force 2 easy for new players?

Went out last night looking to make a few quid, got to the pub in question to find every forcable machine pushed to the max, the barcrest martian one (not space invaders) had 95 out, LS went for 46 off the top, the new red (DNA or something) went for JP with 50 extra, and that was after a good bank, another barcrest 5 liner (cant remember the name - but thats what alcohol does to me at this time of the morning) went IM and someone took 80 out, the only machine not pushed was Powerball which me and a mate lost around 50 between us in. Surely people are becoming more aware of the force and on certain machines and making money before ME!

People who don't know (or don't care) how to use features to your advantage can only use this option

Its not just forceable one's they try it on though, even "good" reds can take the piss if your forcing them.....once again the use of features would be much cheaper.

We've now entered the days of £50 in for £40-60 out and a happy player (then they can come on-line and tell us all about it).

The result is too many players who 'think' they know what they are doing and 'think' they can be classed as a so called 'pro' when really they have no idea how to make regular profit week in week out.

Most of which have begun to frequently visit message boards such as this and spout stories about their experience, little do they know that the majority of you got it oh so wrong!

Too true, as one of my arguements a few months back, students especially anonymous for it, trying to make themselves look good up town by brute forcing a machine, when all it would've took is that one feature

We've now entered the days of £50 in for £40-60 out and a happy player (then they can come on-line and tell us all about it).
But this isn't profiting really is it? Some people say something along the lines of:

"I forced a BLAH today was offering £15 first board, £50 in for £65 out..."
All that time for £15 profit? When you could've just took the first £15 and saved yourself 6 hours of standing @ the machine and staying in the same premises.

all though i'm not new to gambling i only joined this site a week or so ago and it even pisses me of when people ask questions on how to do this and how to do that. most of use have had to learn the hard way so if they haven't got any thing useful then sod them. i know this site is about sharing but why should we do all the hard work and then pass everything on for free

Forcing as a play technique has been around for years, in fact, it was the only "proper" way to play machines going right back as far as the likes of Barcrest's Hi Jinx, and remember Monty Python + clones of course. (Well, I think Arabian Nights was the first and they were all cloned off that, Neptunes Treasure, Red Hot Knights and so on.)

It's only in the last 18 months or so that forcing has really come back as a viable tactic to make half-decent profit on fruities, hence so many people doing it all the time.

Deliberate on the part of the manufacturers in my opinion, as a lot more money through the cashbox if a previous "tenner in at most" player will happily play through £50-£60 knowing they'll get £40+ back.

Back in the day when you could empty Lotta Luck/Codfather etc just through forcing & refusals I went into my local only to find a couple of old boys(knocking on 70) refusing reds.

I asked them what they were doing.

"Oh, we saw some bloke empty this the other day and he told us that all you need to do is turn down red boards...".

I knew then that the days of pro-playing were numbered...

I got rumbled on the Lotta Luck method at my local snooker club, the barman watched me on the CCTV, cheeky ****

Actually got to be good mates with him in the end but he did cut into my profits a bit.
